precision sc44 t3/t4 turbo smoke issue?

I searched and searched and havent been able to find any info.

the smoke/steam isn't coming out of the exhaust...just after i run it hard and boost it a lot, white misty, steamy like white smoke (not thick) comes from the turbo itself...like in the middle of the turbo. it boosts fine and pulls hard,

could the turbo just be burning off oil when it gets hot? it stops smoking if i let it sit for 3-5 minutes..sometimes less.

just confused, i havent found any info on the turbo itself letting off smoke, usually i read it coming from the exhaust lol...

is the turbo new? Might just be burning off oil from the manufacturing process which is normal

I don't think it's new.

The guy I bought car from a week ago actually said it was rebuilt (can't remember how Lon. Ago)

How long does the break in process usually take

there's no such thing as a break in process for a turbo.
