Beautiful car OP... The wood grain accents are completely at home in that thing. I'm nervous about those flairs though. Almost everything you have done to it thus far is tasteful, hopefully the flairs will flow with it and not look like some cobra kit car gone wrong.

What offset are your front wheels?

I'm trying to help my cousin with wheel fitment on his 69 roadster I saw that you were running the SSR “ longchamps” wheels 15x6.5 front * 15x7.5 rear. He has a custom axle in back, but I was wondering what the offset of your front wheels were, and what you thought would be the max backspace available in front? Thanks a million for any input, and that wood grain is dope!

Here's his build thread. It's a track toy with a single turbo nissan v6. Pretty cool.

If your 15x6.5s are +15, That's:

6.5/2 +15/25.4 = 3.84 then you can usually add ~>.25" inches (wheel widths are quoted from the inside of the lip) for a back space (quoted fot the outside of the lip) of
BS=>4.09"

How far are you from hitting... control arms I'm guessing would be the first thing?

Yeah it's rollin what looks like a ford 8.8. But it came with drums, so we're wondering what it originally came from. The usual suspects are mustangs and crown vics, but I'm pretty sure they don't come with drums. He got it cheap from a guy who was not the original builder off Craigslist Sacramento, with huge Donkey Dick Hoosiers on 13" steelies that he's tryin to flip so he can buy street wheels.

Rota makes the RBR in 17x9.5 -19 in the roadster's queer 4x114.3 (same as 4 lug s13).
9.5 in /2 = 4.75
19mm/25.4 = 0.748 in
4.75 - 0.748 = 4.0019 in back space

We're trying to figure out if these are going to fit the front with 285 kumho XS without a spacer.
