NRG short hub on S14, turn signal cancel doesn't reach
Like the title says, the turn signal cancel thing doesn't even touch the short hub.
I've removed the two gold pins on the short hub that you'd use for an S13. But when I bolt the short hub to the spline shaft it doesn't quite reach the blue turn signal cancel device. What's up with that? It's bottomed out on the shaft so it can't go further, and yet I hear that this shouldn't be an issue. |

Im having the same issue right now, it stops just short of reaching the cancel thing ugh, any other experience with this. I even hit it with the impact for a second thinking maybe the splines were just too tight, no dice

Ill let you know what i end up doing with mine. I dont have a lot of time for the project but hopefully in a few days or so. If cleaning up the threads and making another attempt doesnt work. I may end up fabbing a spacer for the turn signal cancel should be pretty easy. It may just need to be cleaned up as kuma suggeated and then pushed on again. The splines seem really tight and i suspect that they sort of expand the softer metal as they go on if that makes any sense.

Had the same issue, I removed the blue plastic piece and glued it to the hub with the pins lined up properly (degrease the surface and use an epoxy). Since this offsets the blue piece a bit, I had to build up the plastic notches near the bottom that trip the turn signal, again just put a dab of epoxy of them then trim/shape it slightly once it is dry.
