Wasn't there a dude on here a while back that was trying to sell some kind of supercar kit and scammed a ton of people? I vaguely remember there being a huge thread on it but I can't remember his username.

i just went back and read dizz's comment. he was talking about an FD. I am talking about the dude who bough a handmade in japan 11-12k carbon body kit for his FC and then started a gofundme because he had an 'emergency' come up and 'literally' zero dollars to his name (cause he just spent it all on a body kit). i dont remember whatever came of it or what his 'emergency' was, but dude had his #priorities in order.
people fake cancer to scam people out of money for all sorts of reasons. as sad as this is to say, its not the most surprising one bit. |

There's the FD guy faking cancer and the FC guy that had an 'emergency for his cat'. As much as I don't hate Corbic, we gotta ignore him and keep pictures of Mustangs out of here. Pls discuss the tragedy fakers.

Zilvia would be great if we could find the sweet spot between being crabs-in-a-barrel and shutting down phony fucks.

...and y'all might find this as a surprise but the Feed aero is actually rad. that car posted is a little too wild for me but I saw my first Feed FD on a road trip to Kyushu and it changed my mind. The guy had the fenders but kept everything else 'mild'...like he knew the fenders would widen his track width but kept the car as normal as possible otherwise. It looked great.

I could never get into riveted over fenders. They just look like a cheap afterthought. Many of them let you blend them and some look a little better that way but at that point, why not just do it right with an all metal widebody and/or replace the front fenders entirely?

People stateside don't smash up FD's like we do S13's / S14's. Its funny how almost everyone who ruins perfectly good panels for overs regrets it in the end. But you know, the internet requires you to have 12" wide wheels for 250hp. |

I have a rust bubble on one of the rear fenders that surfaced literally like a month after I got the entire car repainted. I was so mad. It was rusting from inside the wheel well and I never knew it until it started puffing up. One of these stupid kits would solve it because it is in the area that would get cut out and I still don't want to do it. I'm weighing an OEM style repair or a metal widebody option at the moment. |

grumpy rant
I have 18x10 meisters up front (step lip) and could not get my 225/40/18 atr sport 2 mounted on them. Tried cheetah, double cheetah, starter fluid, starter fluid/cheetah, heated up the tires, left em in the sun, pretty much every trick. Tried on 2 different tire machines that are pretty damn nice. First place I went to stretched the same exact tire model, same size, on a 18x10.5 a few days prior. FUCKED. 2nd homie couldn't help me, but he ended up buying the tires, so I'm about to go pick up some ss595's because I can get them local and hopefully drive my car this weekend dml Quote:
QuikSplat when you get shot The other night I was towing back the s14 from paint and stopped to get gas. Had 2 friends with me, one country dude with a 9 second Camaro and other dude is 6'8" and does farming/landscaping shit for a living. I was walking back to the truck and this sassy bitch almost hit me in her Elantra and got mouthy, so I muttered a dismissive "fuck you" under my breath, not really trying to actively start anything. Anyhoo, she heard me and started going off and said some shit like "what if I had a gun?" uhh, lady, we HAVE guns. This is the south. Then she tried to snapchat us or some shit when she left the parking lot, she had a hard enough time driving with 2 hands on the wheel smh Quote:
Tbh stock body is best unless you have a super sick body guy to make your overs/widebody/flares/etc. fit worth a damn. I have 5" lips and had 5.5" on my Riversides I just sold and tbh they're like. deep. All these kids who try to throw 8" lips on their cars for clout are morons lol. Quote:

bruh. 2019 its all about the over fenders... you old man...
get out of you recliner and get with the times! Feeds aero always added to the look of the stock lines IMO.. not like rocket bunny and other over fender junk.

First it was fender flares and then that spiraled into over fenders. I honestly think without over fenders most of the 240's on the road today would be rolling around with caved in quarters from slamming into walls attempting to skid race.

Makes my friggin skin crawl, yuck
I was actually gonna respray it another shade but this prick just went renegade and bought the most disgusting shade of green, so we had to buy paint again...thus I kinda just stayed away from green at that point.

Unless the car is entirely a tube chassis, something else is going to crumple further back. Whatever that is, repairing it is going to be way more difficult than the body panels and rad support. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
