Couldn't find the exact answer while searching. Need a new TOB with the clutch set-up I bought. Wanting to run a Z32 TOB since its beefier and the clutch is not a stock replacement.

-What year and model Z32 TOB will I need (like say a '90-'92 TT, etc) or are they all the same?
-I'm using a Centerforce Stage II with centrifugal weights, will it clear the Fidanza flywheel (I remember a MR2 Spyder at work with that combo not having clearance on the weights and flywheel; was a clutch pedal-less manual version though)?
-Whose the manufacturer of the Nissan TOB (Koyo, Naichi, NSK, etc.)?
-Does anyone have the bearing number on the OEM bearing? (Looking for the manufacturer and bearing number to source one aftermarket, it'll be the same bearing without the Nissan packaging and price tag).
-Has anyone tried the Exedy clutch master and slave cylinders? They're new and have a real good price. Considering those units but wanting real driver input on them. If not, I"ll go with the Tokico/Nabco units (same as OE Nissan) from FRSport.
-Has anyone replaced the driveshaft u-joints in the front or rear? They're caulked in from the factory and I don't want to destroy the only driveshaft in my only car trying this without some confirmation. Autozone has some as far as part numbers are concerned. I don't want to pay the $350 at the driveline shop or $500 for aluminum.
Thanks guys.

Im concerned about my engine temp. The guage does not say im overheating, but I cant quiet leave my finger on the valve cover, both hoses are hot. The bottom hose i can touch for a while, but i think it could all be too hott. I hadnt heard the second fan come on any today.

Replace your coolant temp sensors. See if your gauge still says over heating

IT says im not overheating. But things feel hot.

It seems to be accurate from start up. I also notice that i will need to re wire it soon cause its connected by two strands. Would this affect the reading?

don't be a cheapee and just get a solid steel one. 350 isn't bad price, especially considering how crappy the OEM setup is.

So it points to the maf? I have noticed there's something wrong with the maf, when I touch the maf sensor wire and wiggle it around the car wants to stall, could it be a bad ground wire?

also again, I touch the red wire to the brass and it completes the circuit but I want it so it completes it at the horn button :x never done a rewire for my horn button before so please help.

quick question, i was under the s13 tightening up everything from the tail shaft on the trans back to the diff, making sure everything was in good condition and all bolts were tight (found the trans mount support was missing 2 bolts, 1 each side, and 1 of those was stripped, thanks previous owner) and i noticed the rubber carrier bearing/center bearing mount moves a lot when you push on both side of the prop/drive shafts...its not cracked or torn but it moves a lot.

QUESTION: How much deflection on rubber carrier/center bearing for the prop shafts should i have?

thanks guys

Trust me, I don't cheap out on parts (whether replacing with OEM or going aftermarket), I just want to spend the money elsewhere while still getting it fixed. I need the Z33 bearing? Why do all the threads show Z32? It looks like the Z33 pressed all the way down on the sleeve (have access to press at work), and the bearing is a KOYO.

Any other answers to the questions I have up there?

holes?
----------------------------------------

any ways heres my question....

rb25 neo with awd oil pan....

i cut the diff off and the oppisite side flange off.(for rwd s13 swap)

can i leave the hollow tube in on the inside that the shaft used to go in rather than welding the holes shut on the outside? it should still keep oil from leaking....right?

since i am putting this pan back on the original motor i cant see why it would be a problem.

is it normal for your oil to smell like gas?
If not, what can possibly be the issue?

They have them at the parts store. Synthetic is nice cause you don't have to replace it every time.

20 year old beat to death turbo motor = oil that smells like fuel. How to fix? Rebuild the engine, and tune the car to not be big rich.
