How many of you on here are dragging in a S-chassis?

All the local guys who drag here run their "drift" cars, with open diffs & missing body panels... I'd love to talk to someone who is serious

I drag only, but I'm only in the low 300whp range. 12.9 all day long.

Personally I lost interesting in drifting a couple years ago, went to an event and it just didn't do much for me anymore. There is a pretty big even coming up 9/15 called Street Life Tour, both drifting and drag... payout for drifting is $5k, drag $14k. I'll let you decide on which one is bigger up here lol

Lol yeah out here there aren't any drifting events, but the local track runs the stupidest classes for the strip.. My car runs 9.8 consistently but the way the track is setup they put you vs ANY forced induction.. I.E. 8sec pro classes lol

So I got my line lock sorted out and works great. Still no anti lag / 2stet but took the car to the local 1/8th but they cancelled due to rain n lighting. So next week I'll try again. But on the line lock alone loading the motor up with the brakes I was able to build 15psi no problem so should launch great when I drop the hammer

I can not get enough of your car S@nt0s! I'm so ready for some time slips. Are you going to preload off the line lock by slipping the clutch? 15psi out of the hole should relieve your bogging problem.

What's everybody launch and shift rpm with slicks. How do you built boost just using line lock with only one tire lock? I am going to get line lock. Which line lock brand are you using Santos?

using the B&M Silenoid and i pieced my own kit to use on the S chassis.
at 5-6K feathering the throttle on the line lock i built 15psi witht he brakes holding the car back. i plan on loading it up at 7-7500 so hoping to leave the line at 20+psi

worn bushings could have contributed to it

I havent had time to get my car out but here is my setup last year without the slicks and the old engine I was doing 12.82@118 with 2.2 60ft
now I have a stoker engine and a little bit better tires

The only thing I have left to do is a scatter sheild and should be ready to go

nice wheels!

yeah Santos, its alot to look at for sure, but its a separate data logger for chassis sensors and relays them thru the CANbus to the ecu so i can have more inputs from the engine.

and its set up wrong right now, the 14.7 should be 100 kpa.. lol just saw that
