Thanks for the A.
First build just going with what feels right.
Next time there are a few changes I may tweak.

not much to do today as im waiting on Mr UPS.
i did prep the crossmember for the new mounts.
removed old KA mounts and cleaned the surface.

didnt quite line up

drilled out a bit

perfect

installed but not tightened down yet.
probably gona need some wiggle room when installing

removed craptastic carbon fiber looking graphic and preped spark plug cover

bought some cheap ass place mat material

testing out best way to do this

not too bad. im still not happy with it, so i may do it again..

Pretty creative solution with the foam for the pattern. Some people may not like it, but those are the types of things that makes a car yours. Keep up the good work!

Worked on the harness today
laid it out to see what i need to work on.
its not much as the longest part past the rubber seal, was all for the engine.

since i bought the car as a shell it didnt have an ecu or engine harness to mess with

this is the plug that has been posted that needs to be modified

it is a direct fit into my 95 240sx base

this can be done indoors in the nice cool air

looking up the wiring diagram online to write down all the wire codes

now im going to use the rb25-s14 guide that has been posted about which wires to move where on this M63 F3 plug!

Yeah, I would have gotten an actual carbon fiber piece, hydro dipped it or just painted it black or blue. Either way, nice progress!!!

-you are better off getting a r32 or cefiro x-member

-you should just remove those valve covers and replace those gaskets.

-did you change your REAR MAIN SEAL?

-you should just replace that stocker turbo with a holset hx30-35

Stock 240 x-member + zero lift mount kit + rb25 rubber mounts = great fit.
All the parts lined up. Sits low and back.
Even clears the steering rack

Gaskets..... check
Rear main seal..... check

As for turbo, stocker for now. Not sure after that.

A suggestion for you, remove those fans and get a shroud that covers the entire radiator, not just the 12" where the fan is. You're car will run much cool this way, rather than how it's setup now.

I only have enough room for 1 of these fans closest to the intake mani side.
The other side fan hits the belts.
The stock clutch fan was too far foward to fit.
So if i do 1 fan on that side, can i get a shroud that covers the rest?
Like this but single fan

are you gonna have air con? if not, you can build a radiator that fits in the space previously used by the air con radiator, and use the isis shroud. it will have to be shorter in height, but you can make it a bit thicker. bear in mind that thicker radiators take longer to cool down.

the easier way is to install two push fans in the front of the radiator. a friend with an rb25 has done that and says he has no problems with temps.

Sorry its been a while.
Finally had the courage to start it.... Sounded great minus not having any exhaust on.
No smoke at all.
No oil leaks
No water leaks
Little rough on the idle. But i will get that dialed in.

Pics uploading now and i will post soon
