No he got it from a guy in Crestview, but that guy might have got it from AL. Not sure But it is a strong motor.

^ it's not only Virginia.

it has to do with the military or something. folks who get stationed overseas buy the cars they cant necessarily get in the states then get them imported. iirc they can get them imported cheaper and with less hassle through the military.

im probably completely wrong though

I'm Canadian so I don't know a lot about it, but I believe it's more to do with relaxed state laws over the Federal "contraband" titles these imports bring...

Common 15 year rule in Canada...I can't freakin' wait!

True, military deployment overseas. Service members can get one (iirc) vehicle brought back here stateside without too many issues.

That's actually not true, I have a friend who had a s15 and he can't bring it back. I also had another friend who was going to sell me his rx-7 fd for 3k when I was in Italy and I inquired about it and I was unable to. Military personnel are not exempt from the law. There's a lot of money, a lot of paperwork and a lot of time to get those cars to be "legal" here. Im actually curious myself to know how people are getting r34's and s15's and newer fd's stateside.
