Sr20 timing chain replacement
Okay so my timing chain has snapped and I am wondering if I can install a new one by breaking the new one with a chain breaker and dropping it down one side of the crank and a piece of string down the other tying them together and pulling the chain up and reattaching. The reason I want to try this is I don't want to pull out the whole engine. Any thoughts?

one day you will look back at this thread and laugh at how stupid you were. its ok weve all been there. anywaya no i dont recommend this method. also i dont recommens that method. and you dont have to pull the engine, all i ahould have to do is drop the oil pan, remove the front cover, and valve cover anda lil extra to replace your chain
