All JDM 180SX Manual Trans Model's had a FD of 4.363 (Also Skyline GTS-T's)
How did I miss this. This is wrong Early JDM 180sx's had 4.36's later Chuki and Kouki came with 4.08's just like USDM 240sx's only difference is the VLSD was a much more popular option and could be had without the ABS option unlike the U.S. 91 up option.

j30 front hubs fit s14 but some custom spacing is involved. front lock nut can be ground down with dremel and placed behind it and the threading is not long enough on spindle so cheap shims are needed to make up the extra space. abs ring must be cut off to . gogle it theres a thread on freshalloy with more detail. i did whole front 5 lug for 37 dollars + cost of rotors.def cheaper than oem s14 because everyone charges alot for them.junyards are your friend for j30s

K here's an insignificant one, but it might save people some money:

The Rear differential drain plug for a 240-280z has a different part # than the S13 one, but its the same and bolts right up. Saved me $7

not really insignificant cause anything and everything that is interchangable can and should be added.

thanks

I had a twin plate blitz clutch, and still used the oem slave cylinder.felt like an oem clutch except for the little pedal play room

Yupp. It has a bigger bore than stock ['89-'90], smaller than the overpriced Nismo piece. Mine didn't bolt straight up, though. I used a couple of small washers as spacers to make the body of the slave cylinder clear the bellhousing.

EDIT FOR NEW KNOWLEDGE IN CASE ANYONE SEARCHING FINDS THIS: The stock '89-'90 240sx slaves are shitty and weak 11/16ths units. The '91-'98 240sx slaves are 3/4", same as the Z32 slaves, though, as stated earlier, the Z32 slave body is slightly different.

You can use j30 uprights on s14's. The ebrake cable also works on an s14, just have to make extended brackets. You need to have a 1pc drive shaft, since where your brackets will end up are where the carrier bearing is. If you are using stock calipers just cut it or remove the ebrake cable since it has the same rear rotor as the z32. Great for people doing 5 lug and rear z32 brakes at the same time.

Ok....My passenger side mirror fell off (glass only) so the replacement glass is around $20. So I went to Pick A Part and couldnt find any 240's with the mirror.....and found that a 90's Nissan Maxima has the same exact glass except it has a BLUE TINT.

Paid $8 and snapped it right in.....except this time I added some gorilla glue....

I dont know if the whole mirror assembly is the same....but the mirror is an exact match....when you pop it off...use a flathead screwdriver to get behind it...take your time as to not crack the glass.

well we still havent had a concrete answer and not only do you need the size you need to know the length " of course" but Id like to know as well if anyone has found some...

S14 LCA is 15mm Longer then S13.
I was not aware of that either. from what I know the s13 has more steering angle than an s14 but could be different cause of the width of the s14. I wonder how well it would improve the s13...? any other info?

another nice piece of info. they must be aluminum hence the reason for upgrade And Im sure you would still be able to use r33 cables, thats what Id do anyway because Ive had mine clamped nice and after a while they just seperated,

Yes you can with alot of mods to look nice. as well as getting the wiring diagrams, re pinning some connectors and swapping out the speed sensor to the s14's.

my addition to the thread, sunroof handle on the s13 is the same as older pulsars or sentras

I dont know if the whole mirror assembly is the same....but the mirror is an exact match....when you pop it off...use a flathead screwdriver to get behind it...take your time as to not crack the glass.

Paid $8 and snapped it right in.....except this time I added some gorilla glue....
1st Gen Infiniti G20's(91-96) have the same mirrors too but they are not tinted.
