Thought this might be worth a shot to post over here.

I'm trying to buy another car, so this money from these wheels would buy it haha.

I'm not in a hurry to sell, but just want to put this out there.

17x8.5 et37 (205/40/17) 17x11 et29 (235/40/17)

$3200 Shipped.

Rear lips alone were $600 brand new from Racing-team Hofmann.

Like I said, not in a hurry to sell.

are those dual bolt pattern? i didn't know vws were 5x114.3? i thought they were liek 112 or something.

The wheels are 5x114.3, my bolt pattern is 5x112. I'm using pcd variation bolts to mount them to my car

Well I'm just going to take a guess and say 4" lips. If these were the standard 7" barrels.
But damn these are sexy. I have never seen anyone pull off 11"s on a MKV. The price is pretty damn high but they looks damn good. GL with your sale

Well I know they make a 4x16, but the largest I can find on their ebay is 3x17. Was just wondering if he was able to acquire them somewhere besides their ebay.

You just have to email him he'll make you whatever. I ordered 4 3.5X17" lips - they were the price he mentioned so I'd assume he has 3.5 inch lips - but that offset is off if it went on the same sized barrel I have - mine were 17X7/8 +45/+50 and my final offsets were 17X10/11 +7/+12.

Also if the center hubs have not been honed out they'll need to be for a 240 - our hubs are 66.7mms and the stock BBS faces are like 55mms.

The price is on the higher side, like mentioned, but lips are not cheap, and neither is a nice powder coated finish...candy finish at that. Also, the price is not set in stone.

Original wheel specs are 17x8 et43 / 17x9 et53

The lips are 3" on 7.5" barrels and .5" faces.

The 1" rear lips were moved to the front wheels which have 7" barrels and .5" faces.

I emailed Hofmann to make them and it came out to 590 and some change I think.

The stock BBS faces have to be larger than 55mm. My hub bore is 57.1 and the wheel's bore size is huge compared to my hub.
