IIRC the guy lives in some 3rd world country and has done several cars like that.

Time is Cheap, Materials are not. So the effort of building a one off from scratch GT86 clone is not that insane. Guy has mad skills.

Thailand i guess it is a third world country but this s13 is drift car for the asian drift series being built by a shop that is no where near being poor and Thailand's aftermarket car scene is all about high HP builds I think this was fitted with a stroked 2j and a t88 I follow Aleksandr k he's an aussie drifter that lives in thailand and drifter for speedtek shop

Per Google Thailand is very much a third world country despite being considerably more functional then what we typically imagine as third world.

Before we get into it, I am aware of the large amount of wealth held by a few. I follow several air-cooled Porsche tuners and their owners on IG.


As for the Aussie.... I bet his living there has more to do with chasing girls, paying off cops and getting more bang for his bankroll.

That's why the system is harder to grade. Before WW2 even the wealthy lived in pre-industrial settings for these countries.

Today you have wealthy elites with millions of dollars but there are still villages without electricity living in fear of crime and violence just few a hundred miles away.

Look at China. Major costal cities offer wealth, safety, modern consciences and economic opportunities we've come to expect in any major US city.

However central and western China still have pockets of people living in pre-industrial conditions and poverty.

Brazil and India are other great examples of this.

Ironically, being from a tiny country that Americans automatically assume to be some third world Eastern European hole, I have never seen people live as poorly and terribly until I visited the US.
The first time I saw a trailer park, I could not understand why people chose to vacation in such a bleak location. Later on I learned that they actually live in those things permanently.

Yet those are the same people who look at me like some second class human and are the first to proudly tell me that they live in the greatest country in the world. It is hilarious.
