The Planted seat bracket is made with 3/16" steel for superior strength. It is built to accept sliders from most major seat manufacturers like Bride, Cobra, Momo, OMP, Racetech, Recaro, Sparco, Status and more. Extra material is provided for direct seat or side mount applications where eliminating sliders is preferred. They are finished with a black powder coat and applications are available for most cars. Planted brackets are stronger! They are made from 3/16th inch steel making the welds stronger and more durable. The Planted bracket will not bend or warp with heat whereas other brackets can be bent by hand.

Planted brackets are more versatile with predrilled slots for sliders from most major aftermarket seat manufacturers like Sparco, Recaro, OMP, Cobra, Racetech, Status, Corbeau, Bride, Momo, etc. There is also extra material for direct mounting when the driver wishes to eliminate sliders altogether.

Do the standard 240sx brackets sit lower than bride type MO? Which, unless I'm mistaken, is the lowest bracket for reclining seats, for the 240sx. Just put my Bride Digo seats in, with MO brackets, and they sit sky high. Yes, I'd still like to keep my sliders.

am i to understand that the low bracket can accept a universal slider in between the seat mount and the base? something like the omp universal seat sliders?

You know we actually have a set of those and although our brackets are stronger they aren't going to be any lower. You can only get as low as the car will allow before you have to modify the floorpan. If you were to get a sidemount seat that was 16.25 inches wide or narrower, our 240SX Low brackets allow you to but the seat pretty much on the floor but there's not a whole lot you can do with a bottom mount seat...other then remove the sliders which would save you about 3/4 of an inch.
