Will an OBD1 s14 work with a 3C OBD2 ECU w/o problems (no throwing codes and stuff)? W/ a CEL, I may not pass AirCare (our version of smog).

I'd think no... but after googling, apparently some guy had his OBD1 S14 running with the OBD2 ECU w/o problems and another person says S14s are all OBD2 compliant.

It's KA, swapped to manual, currently uses the auto ECU.

I ask because haven't found any S14 OBD1 ECUs in BC.

I am still using my auto ECU. Just has a check engine for auto trans control.

Thanks for your reply! That's how the car is currently, it's just an emissions thing.

I've figured it out though.
