how does a democrat drop out = victory for Trump? Pete had no chance of winning. Him dropping out does not affect Trump what so ever.

It may actually go against trump because if they get a nominee before the convention, then there is a better chance for the Dems to pool their funds and support rather than a broken convention.
But hey, its cool when trump blames the Coronavirus on the Dems. And proceeds to cal it a hoax drummed up bu the Dems. Completely cool to trample over peoples graves and all.... |

So your statement essentially correlates with what I posted. The very first line asks if the president regrets throwing around careless and provocative rhetoric (which occurred at the Rally in SC).
However, what he stated above is a complete circular argument and demonstrates he has no problem throwing around careless, false statements. You don't get to say things in such a careless fashion repeatedly, and be like "nah nah, I meant, err , I meant, yeah I meant that"and then continue to do the same at the very next rally. Common trend... You do not get the credit for starting a fire and then running for the fire extinguisher and be like "see!! I am fucking hero!!!" And no, I am NOT out of context. See below the quote from his rally Quote:
trump knew exactly what he was saying at that rally and how he uses clearly false and careless narratives to rile up his base, knowing well and true they would not do their due diligence in calling the president on the statements..... Last edited by RalliartRsX; 03-02-2020 at 09:30 AM.. |

P.S If his admin was doing such a great job (to addressing the coronavirus), trump's latest budget proposal wouldn't have the CDC being cut by almost 16%..........

^^ That is not how it works. Especially if the dems get thier shit together and "consolidate" their votes. Also, it is not a last man standing competition. The primary is from the Dems.
As I mentioned; a broken convention is in trump's best interest. So if folks drop one by one sooner than later, that idea goes away and trump would be battling a consolidated front versus the dems having to figure out how to fund their various proxi battles within. trump has all the $$$ right now because no one will primary him/states cancelling primaries/he has a strong donor base. |

Ok so I’m genuinely interested in what the Lefties in here think about what’s happening here. Obviously the establishment doesn’t want Bernie to get the nomination and convinced mayor Pete and klobuchar to drop out and immediately support Biden. This is ‘16 all over again for the Bernie campaign. They’re being sabotaged by the established when they have a real movement going.
Should Bernie run as an independent? I mean he’s not a Democrat and Democrats are doing everything in their power to stop him. All joking aside Biden’s gaffs and mumbling and slurring have to be giving the party some second thoughts that he can actually go the distance. And that’s before he gets on stage to debate Trump who will inevitably bring up Hunter. Which we know Biden will get super defensive and mean about. He does have the black vote via Obama. Speaking of Obama, he said he won’t endorse anyone until the nominee is decided. That’s pretty fucked up considering Biden brings him up like they are really best buds. Warren is Hilary 2.0. She’s unlikable and really doesn’t offer anything any of the other candidates does other than she’s a women and obviously not a PoC. Then you have Bloomberg basically buying his chance at the nomination, which I think doesn’t sit well with the base, which is basically anti-old rich white men (ironically which is all that’s left). This is all very interesting to watch honestly. The party is definitely divided between the establishment and the new socialist movement. The question is, no matter who gets the nomination are you willing to vote for whom ever the nominee is? Even if they aren’t your pick? I mean that’s what happened with Trump. He wasn’t who a lot of Republicans wanted at the time but they came around because they saw Hilary as someone would have been worse for the country.

And also about the Biden gaffs and mumbling.
https://twitter.com/TheDailyShow/sta...376336384?s=20 When people on your own side like Trevor Noah are saying it’s bad, it’s bad. But hey, he’s cleaning up tonight so...yeah.

After yesterday it seems Biden will be the candidate.
My guess is he would pick Warren to be VP. No chance in hell they would win against Trump.

Honestly, i'm not worried about the 2020 election since Trump will have it.
I'm more so worried about the 2024 election right now. Where we won't have a carry-over president. |

Fun fact, if Mayor Bootyitch ran in 2060 he’d still be younger than Biden and Sanders right now

Most definitely Trump will win. There is no democrat strong enough to beat him. The party is too split.

Calling it right now
Corona virus will slowly deteriorate the Trump train. The news will take demonizing jabs everyday until March. " TrUmP iS tHE rEAsOn! " (Empty food shelves, consistent negative news, shook stock market, quarantined zones, cut work hours, depleting bank accounts, altered social options, and a long list blah blah) All of a sudden when elections comes around. Captain Bernie Save-a-hoe will roll in big ole crusty sack limp dick swinging in a locker room. He will then be glorified as the "Change" needed to bring us back to the "glory days of 2019". We then become fucking commies.

If Joe takes the nod in the rust belt states, Bernie needs to reconsider his campaign.
As it turns out, there is a strong black population in PA and Michigan for example. Bernie has been cancelling campaign showings and refocusing. Bernie is also down some 40 pts in FL..... And if I keep hearing the Bernie bro yell about the Dem committee snuffing out Bernie, they need to stop being a bunch of whiney bitches and actually show up to vote. Voter turnout for the 18-25 demographic was lower than it was the past several years....which his prime Bernie Bro population. Bernie outspent Joe in CA by something like 7.5M vs Joe's 40K (yes, that is 4 with 4 zeros vs Bernie's 7 and six zeros....) and only won by 1.5 or so %. That is a shitty return on investment. And Joe won 10 states on super Tuesday (although Bernie took home a shit ton delegates in CA). Is Joe my #1 pick?? Nope. But momentum is momentum. |
