IMO, not one of those is even remotely close to being the "best" drifting car, by any means.

nevermind...saw the corolla...still going to just let this fade away though....

**edit** had to add the '...' because it signifies the post fading away, and thus adds to the drama. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> **edit**

I'm going to go with a 1985 Sprinter Trueno GT Apex, mainly because I'm a sad Initial D addict, and it's a car I can afford!

I will probably stray from the crowd here by suggesting a German car and a British car.

Lightweight Porsche 968(stage 2 mods, 230rwhp)

TVR Cerbera, I just can't get enough of this car.

The Corolla is what I'm choosing, but not because I'm an Initial D addict (though I am, it's a great series, not just because it's about drifting), not because it's the best handling car stock, but because it's so cheap to get and fix up. &nbsp; It's exterior parts are the cheapest out of all of the others, and therefore that makes it a great drifting car, which it happens to be good at also.

I've never seen a Z32 drift.... although my friend owns a 85 z31 turbo, and we like to mess around in parking lots at 3am with a camcorder.... as for best... I would have to say... cheapest/readily equipped car would be the corolla. I would like to think the rx-7's are good cars though. I just wouldnt trust myself drifting something thats like the net worth of a small 3rd world country...

the best drifting machine is the JZX100 Toyota Chaser.

followed by the A31 Nissan Cefiro.

i voted for a corolla, assuming the ae86, i think this is a good drift car, simply because, it's cheap, you mess it up, no worries

are you kidding me!?!? 12k US!? I thought they could be had for like 100,000 yen or something like that...
I did read, however, an article that talked of the slowly but surely diminishing number of Hachirokus and 4AG engines, it sounded really... sad!

I would think the 180sx/S13 silvia are the "best" drift cars, simply because parts are abundant, sunk costs (cost of actual car and initial start-up costs) are relatively low (compared to f-ing expensive JZX100 chasers and JZX110 Verossas... :sexy: - not to mention a pricey ER34 or JZZ-30 drift machine...), the car itself is very well balanced, and power plant can easily attain the "magic" 350rwhp number for the newer-school drifters (with their massive 17 and 18" rims etc), as well as make an adequate 250-300rwhp for the older-school drifters (w/ 15 & 16" rims and ghetto exteriors.)

I think the FC3S is also a very good drift car, for similar reasons. The only reason it wouldn't be as 'practical' (hah! how oxymoronic) a drift-car as an S13 is because of the more expensive-to-maintain 13B-T and lower supply of body shells, parts, and engines.
