s13 Has this ever happened to you????

Ok so my steering wheel jus locked up on me, but the weird thing is at the same time its locked my key doesn't turn as well....key jus slides in and out...but the lil button next to the ignition I cant even push in or out...power is up and everything but i jus cant get my car to unlock...(mind you i dont have a lock or anything, jus stock steering wheel)..Please help. Any info will do....helpful info. thanx

there is some play in the steering wheel while its locked, turn it whatever amount you can then turn the key at the same time as you turn the steering wheel. should work.

move the steering wheel till u can turn the key...it happens to me sometimes

well fellas i tried that and nothing...would i have to remove the ignition for it to move again or what?...my car has a push start and i never have to put the key in...but i mean havin a push start shouldn't affect it....or does it???

its a steering lock. most cars have them. if you move the wheel with the key out you have to move the wheel while trying to turn the key.

for instance turn the wheel left and try to turn the key, if that doesnt work turn the wheel right and try to turn the key
