Fully Caged s14 for sale (Drift Ready Shell)
New Price $3200.00 need to finish other project
bought this shell from a buddy in hopes of restoring it to its previous beauty have too many project with out sufficient funds shell is fully caged with gussets, custom V-mount set up, front inner fenders are tubbed, rear quarter panels have been cut and raised for maximum wheel/tire clearance with as much slammage as one can afford. cage was used in D1, but was not approved by Formula D. For Sale $3400.00 (that's what I'm into it for; buying the shell, buying a spare, and professionally fixing the rear-end damage) shell is in perfect shape and does not have any frame or major body damage. Yeah I was about to ask the same thing... rear down bars are std, cage doesn't go through the firewall... maybe the halo was too close to the driver's helmet with his seat/rails?

The main hoop is over 180 degrees and the diagonal bar is not 1 solid piece... Otherwise the car is pretty legit and the cage is badass! It doesn't matter cause only like 1% of the people on here if that will ever need to pass fd tech...

so inorder to pass Formula D the cage must be slightly altered. My buddy had to go through the same thing with his cage this year; "you need a 1 piece diagonal bar that goes from the drivers head, to the passenger floor. the one you have in there now is 2 piece, over the past 2 years that is no longer accepted for the most part you are also missing your 2 main hoop supports. they go from the top corners of the cage (basically on the top part of the main hoop, right before the bend down) to your rear strut tower plates. i had to add those exact 3 bars to my cage to get legal for proam this year." |
