Looking for Info: KA24DE(R) Supercharger
Hello, I went to the website, which looked a bit dead. I believe the guy used to be an old Moderator on here.
Would like to get in contact with him regarding his kit, planning to Twincharge my next build using the M62. Last post on the FB account was 2012, If anyone has any additional information, feel free to chime in, Thanks |

His car is turbocharged in all of his YouTube videos I believe. He sold the supercharged car after a short period of time. He doesn't own KA-t forums

No, he has videos of the supercharger on the dyno along with other threads with more info on it. That's cool for him he is using a turbo now, I aim to use both.
Never said he owned the KA-T forums. He was a mod on there or something for a while. He runs the KA24DER site. Thanks for trying, though..? :/ #Zilvia Still on the lookout |

Why would you even spend money turbo + super charging a KA24 ? Aren't there engines way better suited for that ?
sorry for the hijack but i really can't understand that ... what is the point of using a crappy engine as a base for something as complex and expensive as a super + turbo charging ? |

Go read more about Twincharging. RHMT or eng-tips would be a good start.
Can't tell if you are asking an opinion based questions or just sharing said opinion. Are you sorry? Cause you repeated the first two sentences again, including your "crappy" opinions. "Complex" and "expensive" are relative terms, and mean little to me. Thanks for the bump Last edited by Toaster; 02-02-2016 at 04:58 PM.. |

You're going to need it anyway, what's a little more work. I would approach one of the companies that makes transmission adapter plates and such to see if they can point you in the right direction. |

Thanks Frank, I really appreciate the help. Thats a cool trick.
I was really hoping to get in contact with him to discuss the pulley design. Seems like he had everything pretty much figured out with the radiused entries on the plate and such. Collins adapters and Mazworks was the first two companies that came into mind. Anything else? Twincharging has many benefits, and the KA is a great engine to work with in the 240 for this project. Someday I will AWD convert it, but for now, I want to practice with this, and learn something not many people try. I was hoping to get a good start using a kit like this, but we will see. Thanks |
