180sx hatch wont shut

Hey guys, I have tried searching info online and couldnt find anything and cant figure it out.

Just finished doing my type x tail light conversion on my 180sx a few days ago and chucked washers where the lock cylinder is to push it out.

And today i added a couple more in to make it sit flush and went to shut the hatch and it wont shut. Like the catcher or lock is stuck open

Has anyone had this problem? Have tried adjusting the catcher and still nothing. Even removed the washers in the lock cylinder and still wont shut. And now you cant even turn the lock cylinder with the key its pretty much stuck or seized.

Any help will be appreciated before i go and buy a new catcher, latch and lock cylinder
