looking to get nitto nt05r 's for my rear 18x10 +12 wheels. currently run 245/40/18 i wanted to get 255/40/18 but didn't really find any drag radials in that size. i also would rather not pull my fenders any more. would 265/35/18 fit?

You don't need a +40. Low to mid 30's work as well. I run a +36 at -1.5* camber and have no problems tucking 285's. I'm hoping to pull some negative camber out in a few weeks.

S13's are slightly different than S14's and can't fit as much tire without some modifications. Check out Broadfields thread or message him about his fitment. He has 11's with high 200 width tires under factory sheet metal.

I was able to squeeze in a 275/35/18 on a 17x9 +35 wheel, and then a 275 M/T E/T Streets on 15x8 Summit Star wheel with 4.5" backspacing, and I had no pull on my fenders, just a roll, and maybe -5* of camber. I would think a 285/35/18 will clear pulled fenders with a little negative camber.
This was on an S13, BTW.

Tire fitment totally depends on ride height. Without knowing what ride height someone is running, it's pointless to suggest what tire will fit. I'm running 285's on my S13 and I had to do a 25mm pull, notch the lower control arm and hammer the crap out of the upper inner wheel housing.

So I think it might finally be time to buy some wheels..what are thoughts on the following:
Volk CE28RT Black Edition Front 18x9.5 +22 (or possibly +14) w 255/35/18 Rear 18x10.5 +20 with 285/35/18 I dont want anything to crazy for camber as the car will mostly be used for track days and time attack...very little drifting. The car is a S14 97' Stock Body - Currently not rolled or pulled (Definitely will be required) Car has KW Variant 3 Coil overs and all SPL adjustable Arms. I was originally gonna run 17s but they wont fit with my brakes. Is the offset and sizing above achievable on a s14 with fender work? I want to ensure I get the correct offsets as I really don't want to run any spacers. |

you're going to need a higher offset on the rear to fit under stock metal. front, I don't think you'll be able to do that at all without extensive fender work or overfenders.
check out http://www.willtheyfit.com/ to compare your current setup to your proposed new setup. |

18x11 +23 rear 18x10 +23 front work equips med disc
S14 stock body just want a roll and pull. Hks hyper Max coils iv Would I have problems with this set up also I have cts v calipers in the front z32 rear. Any suggestion on tire size or any suggestions on wheels set up. I honestly don't even know if they will clear my brakes. Will a spacer help or maybe do a 9.5 +17 in the front or a 9.5 +23? I have done tons of research still undecided any help is appreciated. Thanks. |

I run a 17X10+20 (275-40R17) in the rear and I need a good roll in the rear. Fronts are 17x9+25 (255-40R17) with a 3mm spacer to clear the Z32 brakes. XXR531's.

i havent had chance to dig thru this entire thread yet, but ill ask anyway (please dont flame me for this one).
over the course of the next year, im going to have to upgrade my wheel/tire setup given im going to be running a power FC DJetro and bigger injectors... my poor little 15x7.5 SSR meshies with 205/60R15s simply wont hold that much power. ive SEARCHED the thread a bit and it seems like 235/40R17 F on 17x9 +20 and 245/40/R17 R on 17x9 +20 may be the way to go with stock rolled fenders with no pull on an S13. im not looking for hellastupid fitment, id like something with functional offset that looks good, but with the ability to run a wider tire/wheel with as little camber as possible w/o having to pull my fenders. im going for function > form here... but still NICE looking! sorry if it sounds like a contradiction, but most cars in this thread look GREAT with their offset and size of tire, looking for the same thing here with functionality. any input would be helpful. |

9 +20 with a 245 in back is a tad aggressive with just a roll.
Also, I always preach square tire setup since the s13 is pushy anyway. 245s fit all the way around so why not. I run 245s all around with a 9 +35 in back, 9 +25 in front (+35 with a 10mm spacer) on my daily. It doesn't qualify for this thread, but it looks pretty mild. The 255 setup on my coupe admittedly looks better, though. |

Just curious to what size tires you guys would recommend. The guy I got them from had them on a civic so the tires are whack. I'm looking for a nice meaty fitment. The specs are 17x8.5 and 17x9.5 +36. The fenders are both rolled and the rear are pulled quite a bit. What would look nice and flush with not much camber? Thanks
