Member for the past couple of years, but lurker mostly. Helped friends swap CAs and SRs into S13s but never got one myself. Instead I ended up with two Cressidas. Yeah, I know I'm in the wrong place but as it turns out, S-Chassis stuff adapted to the X-Chassis is way easier then finding X-Chassis stuff.

Whats shakin!

I am Rick and new to the forum and pretty much new to the 240sx. I just purchased my 1st which is a 96 240sx pretty much stock. I have no idea which way I am going to go with the car or mods other than some paint/minor bodywork nice sound system that i will be removing from my truck and fixing anything else thats wrong with it and drive it til the wheels fall off lol.

A little about me which I am sure I will catch some heat for but I am a diehard bowtie fan and my truck which is a 00 Z71 ext cab and my car 00 corvette are my toys but wanted something a lil different and found out that the 240sx is a rear wheel drive so it has me thinking of a ls swap down the road! (unsure yet!)

I already have a nasty car which is the corvette which is my love of hard labor and my toy/girlfriend lol so i dont know if i want to do the ls swap on the 240 yet.

with all that said I am a car guy also so a good car is a good car and have love for anyone who builds or has built,races, mods etc a car just because they can !!!

my long story short.

I was born March 28. 1989 In Ohio. did hill billy stuff, and raced moto cross, graduated high school, joined the Army at 19 because a commercial make it look bad ass. got stationed at Ft. Knox, KY. Deployed to Afghanistan for all of 2011, came back December 23rd.I built a K24 integra. A few months after my return I get orders and pack my things and begin my cross country journey to Ft. Huachuca in my freshly assembled K24 integra. I get here and picked up a S14 and its Ka-t is built and boosted now. Ive lurked on this site for a few years now, but now i cant continue my life with out an account lol.. so here I am robotrippin from being sick

I've been building a Datsun 240Z for the last almost 2 years, and I'm fairly certain no one has done exactly what I have done.

I always thought that I would never get a 240 for drifting for years, but the price, aftermarket support, and availability really swayed me to them and now I love 240s.
Currently a college student and working to build the best drift car I can.

I owned a s13 rb25 car a bajillion years ago and went 86 for awhile. could never get it finished so sold it and bought another 13 with a sr swap. like the car alot. just no the s14 conversion in the front. If anyone is willing to trade four a s13 silvia front end pm me about it. Oh and the front end is "supposedly" a s14 kouki supermade front end I just haven't researched it.
