1995 Nissan Skyline R33 GTR Vspec, USA Legal Feb 2020 (1 month away)

This GTR is located in Vancouver BC Canada. I can provide the original auction report sheet for serious buyers. This car was graded 4 and an interior grade of B, you probably know that these ratings are rare on older cars and this car reflects that. The car itself was originally KL0 (Silver) and repainted professionally fully in Japan LP2 (Midnight Purple). The only places KL0 is visible is in the engine bay and under trim pieces. I had the car fully inspected by Garage Saurus Canada, absolutely no rust anywhere on the car. The strut tops in the bay are clean, undercarriage clean, interior clean. Since owning the car I have spent in the vicinity of $5k on maintenance and upgrades on the car and available when the car will be sold. For a list of what’s coming with the car read below.

Engine:

99,500km
All Stock motor besides

That's a good price for a clean v-spec! Wish it was still spark silver. What made you replace all the spark stuff (coils, ignitor, harness)?

It's priced at this point because it is the first year it can be driven on US roads legally, not because the car is wroth that.

I don't see R33s commanding this kind of value, I have a feeling a year or so these things will settle down in the 25-30k range.

I think the right vspec could certainly command ~$40k. For that kind of money there are a lot of options for a fun car though so buyers in that price range are going to be few and far between.

I dunno, there was a factory LP2, V-spec, grade 4, B interior one from March 95 with 58k km that was at the USS Tokyo auction earlier this week that went for $40.6k USD. Basically the same car as this one but better, with fewer miles and factory painted purple. Keep in mind that this was the price in Japan, where these have always been legal. Maybe it was US buyers bidding and driving the price up, but R32s have been legal for US import for 5 years now and decent ones still go in the 20-25k range. R34s are going for 50-70k and they're not even legal for US import yet -- I think the GT-R scene is just going to get more and more expensive as time goes on.
