This is funny. In Japan they favor the 350z over the V35 big time because they feel the Skyline in its current form has become to luxury. Japanese sports car fans are very particular about a sports car becoming to luxury and to big. That and another thing that a good friend of mine in Tokyo told me they feel the G35 aka v35 Skyline is to large. It would be typical of Americans to go for more luxury over just a more pure sports car interior. I actually prefer the 350z for the very reasons as the Japanese. Smaller car in size and apperance and tuned more to be a all out sports machine and not some luxury sports coupe that is aimed at an older crowd. I am not saying I do not like the G35 I just prefer what the 350z offers especially for the money.

i'm a little biased....to the comment on the Z being fat...check out the weight on the G35 and you'll rethink that remark very very very quickly

I lik eboth cars for different reasons, as far as daily driving I like the Z but for long distance the G is nice, as far as boost... Z hands down. The G has a little better interior styling but still lacks seriously in the "luxury" department. The Z on the other hand also lacks in the interior...

But when you drive them... there is no mistaking a Z

A 2 seater isn't very praticle for me as a DD...so I voted for the G35. I would take the 350 if it was just a dedicated recreation vehicle.
