Looks great! Yeah clean up can be a pain. I laid out a large clear plastic film under my setup to contain the excess. At first glance it already looks x1000 better.

Thank Scottie,

It is 100x better then what it was. Couldn't stand that weird blue looking dash. I have plastic everywhere it just made a huge mess in my garage lol. I didn't even realize how much of a mess I made until I went to switch to my other air can.

You got to love it when you plan things out, and it all comes together just how you imagined it in your head.

Slowly putting the interior back in. Thinking about switching over to a different seat bracket. Not impressed by the planted low mount after all.

So turns out my FPR gauge realized I was finally getting my way with the car, after so many months and decide it didn't like that. The liquid jell on the gauge decide to all come out. It wasn't to bad of a clean up. Bought a Turbosmart replacement fuel gauge. Installed it last night and fired her back up.

Thanks Scottie.

I look forward to seeing yours running as well! I plan to pick up a LQ4 or LQ9 and build it up on the side. So I can be apart of the LS family with you all.

You'll be fine. Just remember not to ground out your harness like I did and have to wait another 2 months to get it running.

Not following. Typically an electrical harness needs a ground or two to work.

I rushed installing my original stock harness. While doing that I put one of the grounds on the power side of the stater.

Turned power on = smoked harness.

Holiday weekend update.

Drove the car today.. It was an experience to say the least. It's LOUD, and showed me what I still need to do to get this car reliable. Boost comes on weird I think the tune is just not right or to aggressive up top. Lastly I don't think the alt is charging the battery at this time.

Thanks for reading. More progress updates coming soon!

I figured out what I was missing for battery charging the alt wasn't the problem.

First off, thank you for the kind words. Its been an experience to say the least. Although I will say I think our builds are on two completely different levels. Yours is what I wish mine was all along. But it will come. I do plan to go LS in the future.

Yes I did get the car running just for it to turn on me again. With further electric gremlins to figure out. I do feel I have a good lead on them tho after talking with my friend.

The car use to be a pro 2 car from what I was told. The suspension is a F-auto custom spec setup and all supporting suspension arms. (not sure what the specs are tho) but it feels decent right now. There has been a ton of improvement on suspension systems over the last 5 years so I will be taking a look at those once the car is running and tuned. I would like to make it to the first drift events in my area next season.

The car has been a headache since day one. Lesson Learned. But if 2015 is anything like 2016 I'm not sure how much longer I will have the patience's for this car.

This car was for sale on the List in my area for quite some time and I made sure to stay far away! Sorry you had to deal with the headache.

It's almost always better to spend the extra and get one built to quality spec than the backyard special

However, the car sounds pretty good and once you patiently work through all the kinks, you should be able to diagnose and solve any problem blind folded with a Margarita in your hand
