posting in marketplace

after a year and a half of researching and lurking on the site, i decided to make my OWN zilvia account. im ALWAYS on the site and always in the for sale section. if i was interested in something i would sign into my friends account (koukisandsomeapplejuice) to purchase things or post in the sale section if i needed to sell items. ive purchased a few things off here including a motor, shell, and countless other misc. things on here. i know the rules say you need to wait 90 days in order to post in the marketplace. is there anyway my 90 day wait can be waived since i've been used my friends account before to post? thanks.

You'll be lucky you and your friend don't get in trouble for sharing accounts.

If you see something you like in the Marketplace, just PM the OP about it. It's not really a loophole, but it is...

But take what I say with a grain of salt. I've been a member for a few years, and hardly ever post. Mostly because I'm scared and don't want to get banned.

alright cool thanks and same here. i dont post unless its vital. if its really such a problem ill wait the 90 days to properly use it. its not that much of a big deal but thanks anyways

I did read.. Which was the reason for the post I made. And from the last response no rules are bent for anyone, totally understandable. I will wait the 90 days not a big deal, just figured it doesn't hurt to ask. Thanks

Actually, if Zilvia was so "Nazi," as you so succinctly put it, you wouldn't have the option of leaving so readily available to you. Feel free to exercise that right if you feel so deeply assaulted by Zilvia. Strange that one would think so lowly of a place that they continually return to.
I would invite you to keep quiet on things you can do nothing to change.


To the OP; the rule is in place to curtail rampant registration by people who are ONLY on Zilvia for the marketplace (like the above-quoted member quite OBVIOUSLY is), considering that we are a community first, who happens to have a marketplace.
There are other reasons as well, such as curtailing scammers/banned members (not accusing you of either) from simply re-registering to get access and a few that we will not discuss in public forum.
That said, the rule is in place that you being a newly-registered user will be in the same waiting period as anyone else. Sorry to say it, but it would have been better to go ahead and start your own instead of borrowing someone's.
