Only have my iPhone pics but got some of the window vent finished. It's in primer right now. Once the rest of the car is done, we'll paint it to match. Still haven't decided on the cover being carbon covered or painted.

Thanks guys much love

@cunit and singlecam, yeah the Ferrari build was back last july, it has since gone into storage and doesent look like it will be coming back out too soon. Kristian is a good friend of mine and he has moved to Vietnam, he's in the process of re-opening the shop there so you never know what the future holds or what the mad bastard will do next, .

@str8e180, yeah the hypertune products are sick, there expensive but well worth it. they made this inlet custom for ITP here in perth, has 2 or 3 fuel rails. awesome piece of engineering.

actually forgot that i have two big projects, one finishing this week and the other is finished but i have to ask the owners permission to post pics.

no str8e180 is right, they built three full r35 rollers from the ground up. everything from tube chassis, bodywork, electrics, engine, ect, all built here in house.. the chassis is based of a RJ design but is no built by RJ. first r35 drag cars in the world.

This is the ps13 i preped for christy carpenter, a professional drifter here in Ireland, im sure you all know his Yokohama 1j s15 from previous years . it was nice to be let lose on a project for once, christy gave me guidelines of what he wanted and let me lose to destroy his baby in the faith i would resurrect it as a frankencar ,. some love it some think i went too far, ive been in this game a while now and i assure you everything has a purpose and reason for its placement. this car is as far as i can bring it without going full space frame chassis. I havent got final weight figures of chris yet but i can tell you that two people were able to lift the complete finished shell with cage, front tube frame, rear tube frame and subframe.. i would like to say thanks to christy for choosing me on this build, it was a pleasure to be a part of it..

Caution lots of pics, im not responsible for your computer blowing up.

enjoy.

gutted it

started chopping,, no turning back now.

new cold rolled sheet bulkhead

start of the cage

subframe mods,

finnished cage

plated the front ready for tube.

small bit more cut out :P

another big hole,

engine mounts

gear box mount and chassis brace in one,

engine in, i swear its there,

new cold rolled sheet bulkhead,,

access panel on top

wooops, got carried away

start of front tube frame, Note in doing all this tube work i had to also fit all the fiberglass body work and make the tubes to fit that. there the pictures and the hours of work you dont see. every bar is form fit to the fiber glass for best fit and strength.

bumper bash bar, this is bent to from fit behind the bumper perfectly.

now onto the rear, gotta give her some gheto bootay again

capped chassis legs

http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...61570762_n.jpg

frp overfenders cover everything.

Note how the rear bar bends back in to stop an open end from ripping other cars open like a can opener. would also catch on walls, tyres ect. this way is more protective to driver and opponents and slides better for love taps.

thanks guys,

@toadstool, hoop diagonal and harness bars are only needed to pass regs for some motorsports here in europe,, the sport this car is competeing or could potentially compete in doesnt need them so i left them out for more driver room as he is using a pedal box. realistically with the grade material, rear x and triangulated rear stays it would want to be an insanely rough crash to deform the hoop,, this car will never be put on tracks where those forces could occur.

oh and that is a lovely onevia, reminds me of one of my old cars. very jealous.

^^^That lincoln is an ok entry level TIG. it does TIG and stick, But no MIG.

@ ROCO all those cages you're making a being MIG'd right?

I only have a Miller sync 250, how much of a pain in the ass would it be to TIG a entire cage? or should i just start looking for a MIG for those kind of things?
