When you say it doesn't work, do you mean it doesn't move at all, or moves but show the wrong speed?

i dont think a jdm cluster and a usdm speed sensor will work... you need usdm to usdm or jdm to jdm cluster and speed sensor

Use a USDM gauge cluster that is for DOHC.

You dont need to change the speed sensor.

you need an S14 M/T speed sensor.

edit: lemme clarify.
you want mph so you're going to use a USDM S14 cluster. To make that work, you need an S14 M/T VSS.
You won't get anywhere with S13 VSS or an automatic VSS.
You should'nt have to calibrate anything.

FYI, if you need to recalibrate the VSS signal for your specific speedo/odo, you may use this product: http://www.speedohealer.com/

It may be cheaper than trying to find a JDM cluster. That's also how you can convert JDM gauges to read 180 MPH
