That's exactly what national Healthcare will be. A black hole of incompetent doctors, nurses and administrators and miles of red tape, approvals, review boards and waiting.

Don't like your coverage today? Don't agree with your doctor or like the hospital? At least you "sorta" have capitalistic choice and can go somewhere else. Once the Government takes over, you'll be forced to go to the hospital of address your region and then fight with them as they do everything possible to not spend money.

The Gov will then think price controls are the answer and you'll see a mass exudes of any competent professional because getting $500 to do a six hour open heart surgery isn't the best way to get a return on that $500k medical education. (PS this is exactly what happened in thr VA). Oh and even better, when they fuck up, just like the VA, you can't sue.


Plenty of studies have shown giving Vets Tricare or a check to cover private insurance would save hundreds of millions compared to the POS known as the VA. However the VA employees 365,000 people, all of which are most likely staunch Democrats. In 2007 we only had 254,000 VA employees.
