Help with SR20DET ECU Test
So, I've been testing a ton and reading up a lot and found that I am running the wrong ECU for my wiring harness. Everything has been running fine, but the damn car has been running pig rich at idle and I finally came to the conclusion that my ECU is the problem. I've already tested. . .
Wiring: All wires are good and have continuity and goto the correct pins O2 Sensor: Both skinny and fat sensors give readings ECU: I have a E62 ECU and this is working fine but is not getting any reading from the O2 sensor (that we know is providing a reading) It seems that when running a early blacktop harness you have to use an early blacktop ECU or else the O2 sensor will not get a static ground/standard point and not work. In any case, I am looking for anyone who might have an E5/E6 ECU that I could borrow to just hook up and test through my Nistune/Nissan Data Scan to see if I am correct. I don't want to buy one just to find out my idea/hope is wrong and be out the $$. I'm located out in Mission Viejo, CA 92691 and would be willing to drive my car out to you for a quick plug and test. Beers provided!!! Anyone willing to meet up or help out? |

Bump...? Was hoping someone would have a E5/E6 ECU that could do a quick swap out for a 10 minute test. I would come to you of course and be done within less than 15 minutes.
