!!!HElp Please KA-T running rich out of no where!!!

so i have a Ka24de-T and i just recently got it Ram tuned to my 20g turbo kit. after tune it ran perfect for a month turbo spooling fine afr read perfect everything was TITS! so i problem happened out of no where one day after talking to a buddy when i was about to leave i started the car and noticed the rpm was lower than normal by 500rpm and checked the afr it was reading 9.5-9.8 running rich as fuuuu! since then which was a week and a half ago everytime i start the car it runs super rich and in 2 days driving to school and work i wasted 60 bucks in gas...

so i decided to check my MAF by starting the car and unplugging it to see if any change. so no change occurred so i decided to buy a new MAF. i switched it with another and same thing the engine still ran rich.

then i did a visual check on my FMIC and couplers but couldnt see anything. really didnt do a hard check since MAF isnt being read.

i also replaced spark plugs thinking maybe im misfiring but no change. i still have yet to change wires to see if those are the problem but i highly doubt it. idk if i have some sort of vacuum leak but car ran perfeclty fine but out of no where i turn it on and ran rich. my exhaust has dark smoke now but its oil and unburnt feul.

so im out of ideas and my last idea is checking wiring... anybody help please im spending tons of money on gas driving locally since this is my daily

If your running super rich then its getting 2 much fuel... I had an injector get stuck open on a KA24DER setup and I ran super rich and it felt like I had a lack of power.

Pull all your plugs and unplug the distributor. Have a friend try to start the car with the plugs removed. If an injector is stuck closed you'll notice that its not spraying out of the spark plug hole and you'll know which is bad.

Now unclip the plugs from the injectors. Turn car over again. If there is fuel comming out of the cylinder then an injector is stuck open. If fuel sprays out the hole then u have a faulty injector. No fuel should spray with the injectors unplugged.

Goodluck, and I hope this gives u an idea. I went crazy for a couple days trying to figure this out before, haha...

This happened to me! Big cloud of black smoke all that stuff... Check your ecu, take the cover off, and check if the chip is on the ecu right. Mine just came off completely , I put it back and worked perfect.

I'd just unplug the injectors and try that method first because this sounds exactly like the same thing I've dealt with. Especially after watching the video. Good luck, keep us updated.

So where exactly on ur ecu cuz I know its the ecu for sure now because I swapped back to the stock ecu and disconnected the maf and the old ecu did read the maf but my enthalpy tuned ecu didn't read the maf? also could be the wires coming off of the new ecu because they adapt to the stock harness and they bend really easy :/

Why don't you try and adjust the RPM's a little bit higher like in 1500+, and monitor the A/F ratio to see if they stay the same or get better. Maybe when they tuned the ecu, they tuned @ 1k RPM or lower, richer, cuz when you were revving the car and it passes 1500RPM's the A/F's went to 12's and up, but @ iddle in 1k it got very rich.

Watching your video looks like you're in the fault mode which the maf is bad or not connected. Check for ecu codes, borrow a good maf and try it. And If you think you have a bad or stuck open injectors then check your plugs if they are dark or rich or maybe wet.
