i tried searching around so sorry if im repeating something but..

when i start my car or when i let off the gas, usually happens at stop lights, my gas pedal will stick all the way up. i usually just step on the gas kinda hard to break through it then its fine, until the next stop. i was wondering if this is a common problem and if theres a simple solution?
