Yeah! I finally joined the group! I got a nice sporty red 92 fastback se. It is in perfect condition! I look forward to adding some performance parts to it. What should I do first?

congratulations on the car!
what you do first depends on what you want out of the car. you want a little extra power? do your basic bolt ons...i/h/e you want a good deal of extra power? get a good exhaust and save up for a turbo or engine swap you want it to handle on rails? drop it on a good spring/strut combo, get thicker sway bars, STB's, etc. But from my experience, the traditional "first mod" is an intake. |

Congrats on the 240. The popular consensus is that the intake and exhaust system is really choked up and confining. I would go Intake, exhaust, header. You'll like the sound and the power from those mods. It's like a new car.

Congrates,
Good year. Here's a little piece of free advice for a little more power (free). If you remove the resonator box from the intake you will be breathing more fresh air. It is located on infront of the drivers side front tire. Just unbolt the splash guard in front of the tire, remove 3 bolts and pull her out. With a K&N filter your in business. |

hey i own a 92 s13 too you guys. Do you guys know anything about swapin the sr20 into s-13? Is it true that i have to get a sr engine that is made for the s-13 or is there a universal sr20 engine that could be swap into all three models of 240's.

Hey, I bought a '91 with 70K for $1500 AND I've got dope cams. And I'm female (ahh, what pride!).
Anyway, does anyone here have a '91 240 with an intake and exhaust and has a time slip to quote? Thanks in advance <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>. Irena |
