ME: MY02 WRX, World Rally Blue.
MODS: rebuilt engine (done by yours truly), wiseco 8.35:1 pistons, Clevite 77 bearings, OEM subaru stuff, gates racing timing belt, way too many custom nuts and bolts lol

3 inch Blitz NurSpec R exhaust
Perrin Lightweight crank pully
fugly ass Motegi FF7s with khumo ecstas

i love your bro's GC. The IX is bad ass too. Great thing about GC's... They're cheap and easily modded lol.

As far as my wheels go, I love advan's but Im not baller enough, and I kind of... abuse my car. I live on a dirt road, I take dirt roads (or no roads, whatever lol) and I'm broke.

Im honestly looking at getting some custom bronze 15inch Diamond Racing wheels with cheap snow tires.

I love Subaru's!! Here's my first... A 2000 Impreza RS swapped with a 05 USDM STi motor, Cobb stage 2 EM, Invidia TBE, Fujita intake. This car was a beast....

2nd one is a 04 STi with a fully built motor, big turbo, coilovers, yada, yada.....

Sadly, I've sold both but I will get another one. They are the best driving cars!!

all 4 wheels DO get power. I suppose I can change this to an AWD/4WD thread. Kinda seems like the fair thing to do. My buddy's 1500 is fun as hell in the mud.

lol ah yes, the infamous 4g63(t). Nice GSX. My brother's had... 7 or 8 DSM's, counting the 2 2nd gens and Galant VR4. He's 18 lol. Oh, this completely fell off. Luckily Jeeps sit pretty high off the ground.

I absolutely love mine. I got 28mpg on the way up here from my old house (130 miles, about 4 gallons. A quarter tank.) Easy to work on, fun, and the parts are out there. Only real weak point is the transmission, but the newer WRX's had much better ones than the 02-03.

Just be careful buying a used one. get one unmodded, don't be afraid to really check the car over at the dealership. If they wont let you really get on it and check it out, don't get it. I bought mine with an intake, untuned. I was on my way to pic up a stock intake when piston 4 decided to explode. I can tell you how it feels to drop 10 grand on a car and then have to pull the engine and rebuild it 2 weeks later because some idiot didn't know what the fuck he was doing.

But I'm partly to blame. I really jumped the gun with the one I bought.

idk about GC's being cheap though.
maybe the regular trims are affordable, but the RS' command quite a premium.
seems like most models w/ 100k mi and under are demanding at least $10k and up.

Yeah regular GC is what I'm after. Drop in a salvaged EJ205, which I unfortunately have much experience with, inside and out. Coilovers, wheels, call it a day lol.

All for less than an RS lol.

DAYUM SON! Thats like, a rally tax or some shit. You can find 02 WRX's here with hail damage (golf ball status, not like, little dents and dings) for like 5 grand.

I just got this last month. I live in Canada, so it seemed like the right thing to do. It came with some terrible Canadian Tire rims/tires but a nice set of winter tires. I'm going to start gathering parts for the STI hub/brake conversion and some KW V3's for summer. Then it's just a matter of picking which 5 x 114.3 wheels I want! Oh, and it's kinda slow, so I want to put a turbo and supporting mods eventually.
