well sh*t. if chuck (90DGZ) posted in 4 lug, then I might as well too.
these rims where bought at the junk yard for a total of $80. they were on a 86 mercury cougar, but had a multiple pattern, and the non domestic was 114.3. so i bought them. 15x8, negative something offset. i was doing alot of Auto cross at the time and the stock wheels were rollin all over the place, and sliding. So i bought them. Bought used suspension. (KYB adjustable and rsr springs,$300), a VLSD($300), now welded diff. I tell you all this, so you realize that your rims cost more than it took to get a decent setup on the track. I love racing and drifting. If I waited for the right baller rims, I would have never gotten the amount of track time I do. i would be on the skid pad still trying to get the figure 8 on lock instead of doing tandem runs with my friends. I am also 31 and built numerous datsun 510's, so my taste is a little old school. I also find that I get better pick up during auto cross and can spin the tires easier while drifting. That extra spin helps since I am running SOHC, while my friends all run SR20 and RB20. I also was able to save several hundred by not going 5 lug conversion. which went to brembo slotted disk up front with hawk pads. as well as rent I would love some great rims and a engine strong enough to keep em spinning in a shallow drift. But I wanna be on the track as much as I can. hope there not to ugly for "zilvia" lol and hopefully hoshino's with a deep offset in the future. |

Then again, I only lurk here... but here's my collection. 7's, 8's, 10, 11's, and 12's..... all 4-lug. 15x10 4x114.3 245/35/zr15's offset -52 15x12 4x114.3 345/35/zr15's offset -57 |

Just because they are negative offsets does not make them "phatty." Those are fucking silly looking. They look like they belong on an '85 Ford Ranger. If I ever saw someone rocking them on an S Chassis, I would slap them.

well, im afraid to tarnish my thus positive rep by posting in a 4 lug thread. that said, below is my car is it last was, at a car show in late Jan this year. not low enough at the front, but i didnt have a chance to do more work on the guards and pin back the loom a bit more where it comes thru the firewall, so i couldnt go lower. also, the rear still has the helpers in and are just old 1 way height adj Tein HR so i will need to drop 1 of the collars to go lower. also front offset is a bit weak as i really wanted bigger spacers but ANYWAY! :P
wheels are: SSR Vienna Dish 9 hole 18x9 +24 w/ 35mm spacer -11 18x10 +11 w/ 30mm spacer -19 |

engine wiseyou mean? unfortunately its been slow to get going as i ended up going a bit silly on bodywork and aero since i was getting the paintjob done.
its factory SR20DET, ACL pistons, Eagle rods, race bearings, metal h/g and then the usual mods with a T28 from an S14 SR. 250rwhp at this stage. got a bunch of parts for a top mount turbo next on the list, still unsure which turbo to choose, chasing 350-400rwhp ideally |

Dont think these are "phatty" but they arent knockoffs. They are 17" Buddy Club P1's, other specs unknown(they came on my car from osaka)
yes right now my car is a 4x4, it will be lowered. |
