Im sure you all seen him by now.. wow dude blew up fast!

That is awesome though that people are helping him out.

It kind of sucks tho that it takes him being homeless for people to finally realize he has some potential. I can imagine he could have applied for those same job offers he got now back when he was fit and would have got turned down. But now he has that appeal because he is from the gutter. But also internet attention helped him.

His name is Ted Williams he made a joke and said that they were gonna give him Lebrons old house lol.....he's been sober for 2 years and he he already did a commercial for kraft macaroni it airs this sunday but i think he's gonna do great cause now he knows what can happen to him if he goes down that road again with drugs and shit.....i saw all 3 interviews with the today show and some radio interviews he did and the guy has 9 kids he said

To all those who say he'll sink due to his previous addiction, pretty sad, I know two people who at one point were addicts for a 5 to 6 yr period, and now have been clean for 3 yrs...its not easy, and for them its a daily struggle but they stand strong...and clean...

I say think positive, if he fucks it up, so be it....

bros the two interviews i heard he went down the shitter due to boose, pot, and blow...not crack. i'm sure he'll be fine, he wasn't a junkee. he just lost his job because he was out partying and shit and not coming to work. it's not like he was slumped in a urinal with a pipe in his mouth and a needle in his arm LOL. granted he was fucking homeless so i'm sure a similiar situation occured. but an addiciton to coke and one to crack are two totally different beasts. i'm sure he'll be fine.

Seriously, some negative assholes in this thread. The fact that he has been clean for 2 years greatly diminishes the chances of him returning to drugs. And the success rate after treatment is even greater.

This GUY has been blessed very very well...Great way to start 2011,hopefully he doesnt fall into his old ways.. Also you can't knock a person just cause he done some wrong doing in the past. Honestly the man survived like 20years on the streets,did what he had to do,stole,robbed and pissed off a few people. But hey he still have his most of his teeth lol.The crack must be weak in ohio( im joking )..Im just waiting to see how this plays out,maybe living on the streets will keep strong enough to not go back to that life style..

he went to college and shit then his life fell apart. im figuring he either lived here then got homeless or hitched rides/rode a bus so forth.

he has a degree in communication or w/e the degree is and got a job as a radio personality. he got mixed up with boose/coke/pot in the 97 and by 98 he lost his job. lived life like that for 10 years and then got sober, is in and out of different halfway houses. checks in with his sponsor daily. then he was randomly discovered (again).

Again, there are way to many other people trying to make it in the radio business that haven't screwed up like this guy has. Why should he get another chance when some people haven't had one at all?

Hell if anything don't start throwing this guy free shit and money right off the bat. Give him a place to stay (1 bedroom apt) and enough money to get by and see if he can handle it again. This rags to riches shit in the matter of a week is what pisses me off.

why do you care lol? be happy for someone. he fucked up and is getting a second chance that he EARNED. he has a job and a house. if he fucks up he gets fired and loses house again. (he's not in radio btw) his talent is so unique that it's not like they're are people lining up to do voiceover work. not too mention in that industry their is no "better then the other guy" his voice just so happens to be what the companies who hired him were looking for.
