It's easy it just takes time and some money.

By a wastegate with a vband flange, send your oem manifold in with the flange to have it welded on, then put it on.

When you buy the wastegate they have different options for the springs/psi. Tial MVS 38mm are great for the oem manifold. They are tiny, compared to other wastegates.

Edit, don't forget to weld the internal gate shut Haha.

Yes you'll need to loosen that, and then on the side of the bracket you'll need to loosen the nut on front, and trun the long bolt on the side of it to tension it. Lock in the little (is it 12mm or 14mm i can't recall) set nut and then retighten the large one.

Cut/take that little rubber cover off, and then access the bleeder.

I'll admit, that was a pretty good answer to ChiBoy's attempt at trolling, as he obviously didn't know how to do it either (the issue with forum coolguys is that they blab without knowing, so props to you for calling his shit out)

With that said, I don't have any experience doing the R32 setup, but the E brakes are kinda clunky for sure. If you do find out let a moderator know so they could update a faq as more solid info is what this place needs for sure.

To run it on your stock manifold, you'll need to have it welded on. I got mine done at JPC Fabrication as have some others. 100 dollars, and no more stupid boost issues. PM me if you need more info.

Have a belt squeal on start up. It also does it if I turn on the heater and the lights or the rear defroster with the lights or the heater with the rear defroster.

Went and tightened the alternator belt and the squealing got ALOT worse and lasted longer. Plus the alternator pulley was burning hot.

I'm lost.

seems like a slipping belt is causing the pulley to heat up from friction

if youre talking about that silicone stuff DO NOT use it. if it's the fiber material it will work as long as it has a metal center. the other shit will just burn up. that metal sheet sandwiched in between the 2 fiber layers is important for high heat.

if you have access to machining tools or have the dimensions ready then you shouldnt have a hard time getting a machine shop to make one for you.

does the signal wire for the maf go TO the ecu or does it come FROM the ecu?

Maf has Power/Ground/Signal. The wire connects from MAF to the ECU, but it's the maf that is sending the signal to the ecu.

EC section, FSM.

I'd sooner just buy it to have it done, then buy the material, setting up the machine cutting it etc etc. Unless it's ALL free

Got a tranny fluid leak where the transmission meets the engine block.

Is this an easy fix or something I'm gonna just have to deal with.

It all depends on your care level

Aside from the rear valve cover leaking, any other fix requires dropping the transmission.

Anybody know the thread pitch and depth of the bleeder screw for an OEM S13 clutch slave cylinder? I don't have one handy to measure.

Looks like someone dropped my intake manifold off the workbench. Dent in the side, and the rise from it is on the mating surface. Hit it with the dremel and a good flat block with 400 grit. This is on the upper plenum where the runners bolt to the lower. Looks good to me, but I do have a spare.

Swap or trust the gasket to seal?

if you have a spare one, why not just swap it for your own sake? no point taking the manifold off twice

I was gasket matching it. I don't want to redo the work. But better safe than sorry in this case, I guess.
