Yesterday I went to the car auction w/ the wife to find a new daily commuter. What I foud was a '92 civic LX 4dr w/ a boatload of miles (254k to be exact!) Runs great and get this..... it came w/ 17in 20 spokes, altezzas, and lowered for a grand total of $800. (Let's not forget the japanese "Racing" sticker)

I got it mainly because of the fact that the Focus that I am leasing is about to go over in mileage and the lease will be up in Oct so I figured "I rather spend $800 on another car than mileage fees" So anyway I have a new to me car that will get the groceries and my daughter easily.

It's fun to be on the dark side! j/k

...... i'd just take off that sticker, then make a trip to the junkyard and find some real taillights. it wouldn't be a bad car.

yes please find some stock headlights go to the local rice ghangouts and trade somebody

get their stock ones and some cash. nothing wrong with an 800 dollar grocery getter. I need to find me one

Actually that is a perfect idea, it should be easy to find someone to trade them.

Oh yea where was this car auction at, any other nice cars, any 240s by any chance?

It's Henry's Auto Auction in Mannassas, VA. Held every third Sat. $200 to get in if you don't buy you get your money back though. About 240s there was an '89 a couple of months ago in good condition but I didn't bid 'cause the last thing I need is two cars that can't carry $h1t. I also passed on a '92 Sentra SE-R to get the Civic.

I just really needed a four door

Hmm. Well the LCA is slotted so as long as I get an alainment I should be fine.

Not sure whether to keep is like this or bend it as straight as possible.
