I think instead of breaking up with us Zilvians and making us go to Zilvia went from "in a relationship" to "single, you need to keep some parts for a future way later build or just put away the car or at least store the chassis for later so we can at least say Zilvia went from "in a relationship" to "it's complicated" at bare minimum for both our sakes.

As cheesy as this sounds....your car is my iPhone wallpaper and is the car I show everyone when describing my project goals.

I only recently discovered your car and blog and fell in love with both.

In fact you responded recently to a question I had about determining whether or not my type-x fin was genuine or a fake. You responded and for that simple reply you gained major respect. Thanks for being so giving of your time, knowledge and experience.

I will carry on with my Type-X build. Inspired by your build and in hopes of acquiring if only one piece of your car to carry on the legacy of your car.

I have family in Bloomsfield, MI so I'd happily make the trip from CA to MI to pick-up any part you may sell me.

Never, I have already done the new father thing 6 years ago when I sold my bad-ass STi. You have to remember that I work on cars for a living, so they will always be a part of my life and my passion. Besides, I don't really go through cars very often. I'm going on 39 and have only owned a total of 6 different vehicles... and that includes my daily.

But wont priorities be better satisfied if you kept the 240 for on those rare occasions you actually can use it and keep a soccer mum van for the family. That way you dont lose out on parts bought, you dont waste time scrapping your car AND you wont put your family in potential danger with a souped up lancer that'll depreciate further with time (the 240 cant lose anymore value, lol).

Yeah but parting it out will probably yield $20,000... that will damn near pay for a used Evo.

Since then I was thinking about the epic part out thread. I hate the fact that I've been spending crazy money on electronics for my basement that I'm finishing and not parts

lol... you guys crack me up! I really appreciate all of the comments, positive or negative. I for sure love this car (obviously) just as much as everyone else. I've gotten so many messages from people over the years and it has always been a lot of fun to hear what people have to say and try to help them out from the experience I had. Bumming out everyone that has followed the build was a huge factor in my decision honestly, lolol. But I knew that I had to really decide for myself and my family on this one.

I've spent a couple of weeks on EvoM, and I for sure feel that Zilvia will always be my home. I forgot what normal car forums are like, lol. If the mods here are cool with a non-Nissan build, I'll be sure to keep everyone in the loop with the Evo (if anyone cares).

I'm going to try to be consistent with when I post my separate part out threads so that everyone has a fighting chance. It's gonna be nuts to try to keep everything organized and fair, haha. I'll do the best I can!

Thanks a lot for the support guys. Appreciate all of the comments and opinions. Awwww.
