I have a 1990 240sx hatchback with konig rewinds on it. 16x7 with a 0 offset.

As of right now, its not lowered but whenIi go to do so what mods do I have to do to the car to make the wheels work with the car? Besides stretching/rolling fenders. I.e. new brakes..etc

Honestly those will probably fit just fine when you lower it. I'll be fitting 16x10 -12's on the rear of mine with a slight pull.

Yeah, i'm running 205/45/16 on my 10j's lol. Your wheels won't get closer to your coilovers the lower you go. I have plenty of clearance.

Are these coupe trunk cloth thing uncommon or something? Every coupe I've seen never has it. My stock coupe didn't have it, maybe because it's an SE with spoiler? Anyone want to chime in that has it or seen it?

Help needed!!!

This morning I try to start my car and all I am getting is loud clicking noises, rpm jumps around also. What went wrong?

I changed the battery, still nothing. Checked all my connections (starter, etc) everything seem to be intact.

Can anyone tell me what went bad? Any advice will be appreciated thanks...

Yanack ebrake kit install

Has anyone installed the Yanack rear inner drum e-brake cable kit or the GT-1 motorsports rear inner drum e-brake cable kit. I am preparing to install the Yanack kit and I was wondering what all is involved in it. Any pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I wasn't sure if this question was worthy enough to have it's own thread, so I figured I would ask here.

I recently bought an '89 Coupe from a friend, and it's got a brand new stereo in it. For some reason the stereo isn't working. Friend said he had bought the car like that, so he knows nothing about it. I had it looked over by a couple stereo experts and they came to the conclusion that it must be a bad factory amp. The stereo will turn on and everything but it's not making any sound. Everything is wired properly, the speakers are working correctly because it still makes that popping noise when it turns on and when you link two wires with a battery. Oh also it will sometimes once in a blue moon randomly start working. Only for a short time, then promptly stops again.

Anyways, they said it was probably a bad factory amp and they didn't know where it was. I searched and searched for hours on the internet, Zilvia, Nico, Google, and I just couldn't find anything showing where it was located. I did find something on Nico showing where it is on the Hatch, but obviously that was no help to me. I even spent some time tearing up the car looking for it. Must be hidden pretty well, so if anyone knows where it's located on an '89 Coupe, please help! Or maybe if you think it's an issue with something else other than the factory amp, any info would be much appreciated. Thanks much

Check your ground connection. Even if it seems fine, pull it off, sand the mating surface, see if that doesnt help.

id say double check your wiring & check fuses. if theyre intact, it might be the ignition switch. I heard of those going out on 240s

now for my question, whats the benefit of removing the butterfly valves in the intake manifold on a KA?

Dont quote me on this, but I believe the butterflies are there for better response at low rpm. Removing them would allow for better high end, at the sacrifice of the low rpm response. Basically if youre going KA-t, your whole powerband is gonna be in the upper rpm range, so you might as well remove the butterflies to aid in that. Keeping them would be like adding parts for high end, while retaining the restrictive parts aimed at better low end. Kind of contradictory. At least, thats my understanding of it.

Rather then just reposting the same parts list that I've already replied to, why dont you elaborate on what exactly you want us to tell you? Obviously my response was less than satisfactory, so why not post some specific questions that I can give a more detailed response to. You sound like a little kid going "are we there yet?"
