but from what i gather when runing a surge thank the 255 in tank becomes useless as it only feeds the surge, so your dependent on the in line pump(s) to get fuel to the rail. with that being said isnt the limit of a singe 044 around 600-700whp? so running 2 044 should be able to handle all the power i would ever want to make ? correct?
also i dont like the overdrive small pumps like aeromotive340 and other small framed pumps, they are prone to overheating and dropping fuel pressure.

i you feel fine buying 3 pumps thats on you, but it isnt needed then you have to wire in all 3 etc. Im just telling you from personal experiance on 2 E85 set ups i have owned and currently my DW is working like a champ with fuel and there are tons of daily cars running 500 plus with this pump single DW pump can support over 600 mine is only on 12 volts direct feeding -8 feed line to a -10 rail and 1680 injectors @43 psi FPR. if i add a boost a pump to see 14-16 volts i can push her more which is what i plan to do when i make more power

Just converted my Rb25 to E85. My setup is.
Aem ems series 2 Aem Wideband HKS fuel rail Injector dynamics 1000cc injectors. Aeromotive FPR Walboro 255lph Currently in the process of getting it to run perfect before I bring it to have it tuned this winter. Only problem is I had to downgrade my firmware on the AEM to get it running with a base map someone had. I think I have it where I can drive it but it's by no means ready to rock. So far from getting the AEM and learning what little I have already, I am impressed by it.

I would suggest looking into a duel pump setup. You can use the stock fuel tank. I would look online for the duel pump tank assembly.. it was back on page 4 or 5.. Here you go. Powertune - By Brand - Products I can't help much on fittings though man.. Haven't dealt with them enough yet.

Everyone keeps saying get an A1000 and all your worries will be solved. Has anyone ever researched these or had personal use? I've talked to quite a few people and they all say fuck that pump. It overheats and dies... you have to buy the pump speed regulator for another 300 bucks unless you are just turning it on, drag racing, then turning it back off.
Mohan blew up 2 last year at FD. I believe Dai blew one up the prior year. Everyone seems to be running single or dual 044's now. Correct me if I'm wrong. |

The aeromotive pumps i have personally seen do suck. The 340lph pump my last customer had couldnt handel itself at 20lbs of boost and got hot dropping down to 40 lbs of fuel pressure

Get the detachwerkz 304 double pump it. I
A1000 works but not for that power. The we maxed it out of the 33psi 796whp And for people who say they duck well we have had our A1000 on for over 5+ years and never had a issue. This g has like 300+ passes on it and like 10 dyno sessions

No time for the pump or fuel to overheat. If it is going in a road race or drift car, they are sometimes on for very long periods of time. Fuel heats up, pump heats up, boom everything starts going to shit. That's why people get the voltage/speed regulator and different methods of fuel cooling. |

Ok so... I have a fresh rb 25 cosworth head gasket arp studs blah blah. Any way you guys are going to hate but I have an areomotive 340 and 740cc injectors. Stock everything else. Is this enough to make 350-400 whp with on e85? Or should I just tune the bitch on pump gas and be happy

I honestly just wanted to switch so I could keep my tempuratures down. I said hate because of the aero motive pump. I see a lot of people don't like them in this thread

Is there an E85 pump close by? if you have to drive 20+ miles for fuel, it's a waste. Expect your Mpg to go down quite a bit. I only drive mine 6 months out of the year and have a pump in town with E85, E30 and E15.
Car get's tuned on Jan 10th! Will post my dyno result's, Shooting for .5-.7bar. Then new turbo and tune in march and going to push 450hp! Would wait till march to have it tuned but I figured if I don't happen to get the turbo due to money, I can drive my car and have some fun with it. If I get the turbo I'll just throw it on quick and give it a test run at stock boost and if it's good to go I'll just drive the 6 hours to have it retuned. Had my car dyno tuned this weekend. 270hp and 213tq. 10lbs of boost and 11ish for Afr. Tuned without wideband since my wiring is messed on it. Not even at 50% duty cycle. Only thing holding me back is my turbo.

i know factory lines are out of the question.... i am more curious on if people are running braided lines front to back, or if theyre making their own hard lines, and just using braided at very front, and very back? and if they are using custon hard lines, are they aluminum or stainless?
