Ok so I'm driving home on the freeway and I notice a sound from my fan. I keep driving and my car is getting hotter. Before I had a chance to pull off my car dies and I coast to a parking lot. My coolant was boiling so I left it there for a few hours. I was only about a mile from home so I figured I can drive it home. When I go to start it it doesn't pop only two sputters and I cranked it maybe 5 times. Any ideas? I would have searched but for some reason it's not working.

Does anybody know the brand that sells antennas that are like mini sharkfin antennas for S13's but they're just little stubs...

I believe the brand name starts with a "F" I've been searching google but I'm finding stubby antennas that are 3", the antenna I'm looking for is like an inch (possibly?)

they kind of look like this:

Why can i not clear the code for IAT sensor w/ an obdII scan tool on my 97? other codes will clear though this will not.

I assume there must be an issue in wiring harness, the loop is not closed hence the issue.

please correct me if not.

What size and thread pitch is the PVC valve that threads into the valve cover?

I know this sounds retarded but I tried to google it to find any answers but have no luck. Is there any fan setups with a push and pull running at the same time? Effective? Or counter effective? Links? Thank you.

last time i took a door panel off a car (not 240sx) you couldnt even see the glass. it was covered with metal. and no, you were wrong. i needed to take the tracks off, glass out, then tracks in, then glass in. not just the glass

Well to add to that, the electric fans CAN cool your car sufficiently. It really depends on your setup- electric fans can move a lot of air when set up properly. Another thing to consider is the "parasitic loss" from running a clutch fan. Technically speaking, youre drawing power from the motor to run that clutch fan, but the difference would hardly be noticeable.

I prefer the clutch fan. The extra working space and minimal power gains are negligible compared to the extra hassle.

Gabe, I checked em out and the results were just like the ones that I found on google but check this out.

I got a better picture for you guys, found this on google, it linked me to a '09 zilvia fs thread, that isn't the antenna but it definitely looks like that stub above the hatch wing...

So I am a somewhat of a suspension noob, however I am attempting to learn. I want to do the 5 lug swap on the S13, I found a z32 I can get the hubs and whatever else I need from it.

I know from the rear all I need is the hubs and of course the brakes and rotors.

But as far as the front go Im confused as to what they are talking about when they say the "upright". What is this part?

And what else from the front suspension of the z32 will I need to complete the 5 lug swap?

Z32 front hubs do not work on any S-chassis. You have to run either ;
s14 5lug hubs along with the spindle and lower control arm (correct me if im wrong).
After-market 5lug hubs
Some infinity 5lug front hubs with modification.

roof racks won't, some offer trunk racks. they won't work because the design is made so it has arms that put pressure on the bottom of the trunk, or something near that, and has these clips that are straps that connect to the top and tighten. Hatches don't have a gap between the glass and the lid so you cant latch the clips.

I prefer the clutch fan because, the loss of probably not even 1hp isn't enough to make me change from running something that is directly driven by the car. Yeah if you have the right set up, but most people don't. Simply just swapping wont, you need to actually look at what you're doing.

it most likely will, cause there wont be anything cooling the motor.
