![]() ![]() couple pics, owned the car for 5 years as of July (joined this forum when I got the car) and have put less than 25,000km on it. Fenders will never be rolled, wheels that are too big will never be put on, nor will it be molested in some other way not mentioned. S13-000066 VIN

I don't recall stating anywhere that the car was perfect. Either way, an HKS exhaust from the mid 90's, that came with the car and could be easily replaced means its molested?
Interesting.

I wouldnt grief anyone over an exhaust. Lol I replaced mine with an aftermarket cat back because after sitting for years it literally fell apart after coming back to life.

![]() I wouldn't care about molesting a 91 either, oh wait, that's the reason I bought a second S13 (still no hellaflush though).

Lol the low VIN is the reason I even bothered bringing it back to life. My car wont be 100% stock as it came off the assembly line. Ive got a Silvia conversion standing by and also swapped a rebuilt from the bottom up s14 KA. I dont think that putting aftermarket parts on the car will take any of the "vintage" out of it as long as I keep the body and much of the interior intact because honestly the seats were trashed. This is just my project car and my daily driver is a 350Z. Ive been having a hard time finding a HUD cluster that works. It seems theyre all broken no matter what. Lol

Just going to do some recapping because I am bored at work, so. Speaking in terms of builds for restoring purposes... I'm in the middle of that because I have always loved two tones and wanted a super clean awesome rad daily... But as cool as stock is totally stock is lame... So here is what I'm up to in my garage.
When I first picked this car up in december of 2011. Had been sitting in a yard for 5 years. Terrible blue interior that smelled of cat piss All panels were moldy and gross. BUT it did have HUD glass so that was nice. ![]() I swapped a Redtop sr20 into it that I have had for years. All bone stock with OEM side mount intercooler and recirc valve. Stock intake with an apexi filter. A koyo aluminum radiator and 3in elbow back exhaust that we threw together. Put a mostly full black interior into it, with a nardi wheel and it felt acceptable. Then did some ISC coilovers with XXR's to be a budget way to make it look cool. Drove it around for a while in the summer. ![]() Then I sourced a full complete perfect black interior with black carpet and s14 cloth seats with a complete HUD dash and cluster and all working, So I have working speedo on the HUD with my SR swap and its lovely. ![]() ^^ SO that was all last summer. In this past fall probably Octoberish I tore the car down again and sold the coilovers and wheels and the front end. To attempt at making this a CLEAN two tone silvia with all the cool OEM JDM rare stuff and what not. I picked up an entire front. Metal oem hood, metal oem fenders, oem BIG letter silvia grill, Brick headlights, oem corners, oem silvia front bumper (going to cut the slot for the sidemount if I can ever find the insert I need), JDM half amber half clear turn signals. ![]() Put LED's in the turn signals and corner lights to match the HID lights that came with the bricks. ![]() Also did LED in the cluster, LED dome light, and LED key ring light to brighten stuff up and modernize the interior. In addition to the Silvia front front I have bought a whole stack of parts. OEM clutch fan and SR shroud OEM Silvia side skirts OEM Silvia rear valances OEM Silvia square trunk lock OEM K's badges OEM Nissan coupe window visors S13 Aero Marker mirrors ASPEC blast pipe stagger with burnt tips Complete OEM s14 5 lug with FLCA's Work euroline 18x9+6 18x10 +7 Still to come. COMPLETE OEM Two Tone paint. Fortune Auto 500 coilovers all links subframe bushings tein inner/outer tie rods steering rack bushings front and rear ball joints and doing a full stereo system Soooo thats what's to come out from my garage in the summer of 2013 with my Two tone. I'm sure I left out all sorts of crap that it has. But you get the basic idea!

My car was fortunate to be stored in the dry deserts of CA so it wasnt moldy or stinky and basically looked like yours except the fenders were dented to hell. Your car is going to look great when its painted! I really need a set of bricks. D: Lol

So is yours an 88 for sure? mine was sold to me as an 89, and is registered as such, but I've always had a feeling it was an 88 given the VIN.

Preservation as in not wrecking it or repainting a color other than stock two tone and keeping the body intact. I think modding and converting is fine as long as you keep it legit! My two tone will be modded and Im waiting to finish restoring it before making a build thread without having to wear a flame suit. Lol

Regarding the Two tone on the top of this page and bottom of last page if its a 1991 silvia K's from Japan the color codes are
1k5 - Citrusy Yellow (NOT CHAMPANGE OR BEIGE METALLICS) 463 - Dark grey 1k5 is an import color and will not come up on USDM paint chip computers. I work for a collision shop and this code is not in our computers. You will have to use color chips to find the exact color, which shouldnt be hard for an experienced painter to pick out IF AND ONLY IF YOU HAVE ORIGINAL PAINT LEFT! I have first hand experience since I own the same car but with the correct engine, SR20det. The Ca18 should have been equiped on 88-89 cars? I could possibly be wrong but that is what was in my car and clearly says on the engine bay VIN plate.

I have never seen the #2M7 Citrus Yellow Two-Tone, but apparently it is the S14 240SX Champagne Gold (#EM1) found on '95/'96 models.
Edit: It appears Gran Turismo 4 has a Citrus Yellow Two-Tone Silvia in the game!!! ![]() All I can find is model pictures thus far... ![]() ![]() ![]() Edit2: ![]() ![]() Found some on earlier pages, lol!
