Not the single cam, just the DOHC. but you have to get the hard line from your SR pump and pulley and bracket.

I have a 90 s13 coupe with factory pop ups hatch front. Can I do the TRA Kyoto (rocket bunny) widebody front for the hatch and the widebody rear for the coupe? Anyones thoughts on how it would look because the front would have bubble overs and the back is a whole pannel. Thanks!

SR I need some help please!!!

Ok, I'm really sorry if this has been answered before, but I tried searching within and out of this forum and still couldn't find a solid answer.

I have a '91 240 with a red top SR20DET swapped in. Runs kind of crappy...

When I start it up, it idles just fine, but after it warm up, or when I put it in neutral when about to stop it idles REALLY low. Pretty much almost stalling out (and has stalled before once or twice).

THEN... It has some slight hesitation when revving up. Almost like a "burp".

And lastly, and quite possibly THE MOST ANNOYING THING EVER... Is when I launch, the car takes off relatively nice, but then breaks up in the higher RPMs. Starts at about 3-4k RPM. What gives?? Is it a fuel issue?? This is the biggest issue that I'm concerned with. Cause that crackle or breakup just doesn't sound good at all. (I take my foot off immediately when it does that... which doesn't leave too much throttle to play with). *sigh*

Thanks!

how is your distributor set at? is it retarded back more than normal? or more advanced? because if the timing is set to far back at low idling the car will want to stall out... do u have any dyno runs showing ur air/fuel ratio? . i know in the high rpms it *could getting lean which could cause the sluggishness when u "floor it" . which might be the reason...i know i cant diagnosis ur car over the internet but those areas are worth checking.deff try getting a fuel air ratio number so be certain. but this is just my idea.. hope i can help some what

^ You need some fuel adjustments, you got a motor at a particularly high or low sea level and your current altitude is vice versa. Your running too lean or too rich. That is all

SR Thanks!!

Cool! thanks for the tips! I'm glad that I at least have a starting point. lol

Now I just need to get some cash. *sigh*

But as for dyno availability/ air-fuel diagnostics, I have no access to. I might have to invest in a wideband.

Oh and I guess last Q... What are the best cheap parts out there to help my fuel issue? Money is tight... as always. haha

I mean, if someone wants to fund my project, I have some 96-98 Civic EK Seibon carbon fiber fenders. lol Brand spankin new, never opened! I'll trade for some parts! haha

Get an Apexi AFC (preferably the newer NEO). If you can find one used (it's not hard since it's a universal product, check other forums) then it can be cheap and help you out a TON, plus it looks nice

no, you'll need to do some thinkering
one way is to keep the SR AC pump and have an AC place splice the KA lines and recharge the system.

best way is to keep your AC system but in order to do so you'll need a modified AC bracket.
Codyace makes one, PM him.

ok so ive just finished building my KA24E it was bored alittle bit to fit the new pistons. My question is what type of plug should i use ? i looked on all data for 3 diff plug numbers for hot, normal, and cold.. Some one told me cold plugs are the best to use for after market turbo cars. also im running 370 cc injectors. Thanks !

Can someone post a pic of what an a/t pilot bearing looks like from a dual cam ka? I am doing a 5 speed swap and just want to know what to remove so I don't damage my crank. Thanks in advance.

one of these. you are obviously only going to see the outside edge of it while its still in the engine. do you know what you are doing to get it out? PM me if you have any questions, i did the swap like a year ago.

Try some JB weld BUT make sure it doesn't go in the engine!

They are pressed in from the factory and probably won't go back in and stay without an adhesive of some sort.

Your best bet now would be to thread the hole and put a AN fitting in it.
