Window regulator 95 240sx s14
Anyone know where to buy a passenger side window regulator and guide? Any pointers welcome, not being able to roll down or up my passenger side window is killing me.

Does anyone know the thread size/pitch for the firewall AC connections? I want to 3d print some caps instead of removing them to make things a bit easier if I decide to add AC back in the future, but don't have any way to measure the pitch currently.

Is the second pin on the Z32/R32/S12/S14 Silvia/etc oil pressure sender a low pressure warning light switch? The wiring diagrams for the Z32 and S12 show it as NC but they don't have oil pressure warning lights, just gauges. The S14/S15/RNN14 with center gauge pack have both I think but not sure if the gauge pack disables the warning light.
Edit: yes, it is, just confirmed with the R32 GT-R factory service manual. Last edited by AKADriver; 07-13-2022 at 11:01 AM.. |

Hey, I have a 5 speed swapped 89 240sx with a SOHC that idles at 750rpm but I can't get the ignition timing past 10* when I unplug the tps. I've tried restabbing my distributor and making sure I'm at tdc by lining up the timing mark on compression stroke and checking the cam marks. Its a CA model that I'm trying to pass smog with and currently have no ecu codes. I've been following the manual to a T and starting to pull my hair out at this point. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Clutch Pedal Pin and bushing
Trying to finish up the 5speed swap on my kouki. Found the previous owner did not leave the clutch pedal pin and bushing, that attach it to the rod for the master cylinder, in the car. Anyone have a pair or know where I can get pair? If you have a s14 pedal that has them im not opposed to buying that either.

I just ordered a 10 pack of oil pump gaskets, the oil pump spindle key looks like its more towards 12oclock instead of 11oclock.

Anyone know the hose size of the coolant line that connects from under the intake manifold > back of the engine > stops at the oil drain to the block on a s13 sr20det?
Not sure if it's a 1/4 or 3/8 ID coolant hose.

Is there any RECENT 5 lug vehicle which their spare tire would fit the s13 spare tire location and is actually usable on 5 lug s chassis?

Depends on your brakes. There was a recent thread I think in Tech Talk where someone was looking for a spare to clear big brakes in a Stagea and I pointed him to a company that makes large diameter alloy spares for cars like GT-Rs. But if you just have like Z32 or R32 brakes you should be able to use a 16" wheel. '02+ Altimas have a 16x4 steel spare with a high disc face and 135/80R16 that should fit in the well.
Some Quests (mid-2000s?) have an alloy spare the same size. Probably not as easy to find but cool looking and probably lighter. Altima Hybrids have it too. '13+ Sentras have a 16" 5-lug spare with a slightly smaller tire (125/70), I think this is pretty much identical to the diameter of the S13/S14 spare. But I'm 95% sure the 135/80 should fit in the well since it's the same spec diameter as the stock 195/60R15, which fits, just not width-wise. Last edited by AKADriver; 09-07-2022 at 04:04 PM.. |

S15 SR20DET - car sat for about a year and a half at a body shop getting the whole car repainted. Got the car back recently and on a cold start, or even after sitting for a few hours, it makes a really loud rattling sound. The sound fades after about 5 seconds, so I'm thinking it's related to oil pressure building up. I did change the oil but didn't help the noise.
What are typical things I should be looking at? So far my thoughts are timing chain tensioner, or valve lifters needing to be bled. The VTC cam was fairly new when I refreshed the engine about 2 years ago. Details on engine: S15 SR, only internal mod is Tomei Poncams, everything else is stock, before installing in the car I refreshed all the gaskets with a Nissan gasket kit to avoid any leaks, etc. |

SR20 bearings. I was watching a video of a guy rebuilding one (S13) and he said that the block has numbers on it that correspond to bearing sizes and you have to match the bearing sizes to each number listed on the block. Over the years I have seen many of you talk about building SR20's and have never seen this bearing thing mentioned.
video I am talking about starts at 3:40 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdvnIPHNKM8 I guess my question is, is this correct? He literally says you cannot just buy a set of ACL race bearings and throw in their yet I see a lot of builds doing just that.

My apologies if this has been asked far too much but what options do someone in Europe have of buying S13 Kouki aero and taillights that’s not thousands €€€€?
Cheapest taillights I can find for example are more than €1500.. Pretty steep for some lights |

Nissanparts.cc has them on sale for $999. I know they ship internationally too. Give them a shot. We just have to go forward knowing that restoration of a 30+ year old Japanese car is expensive.

Probably cost about the same but MIGHT have cheaper shipping ordering from nengun or amayama since it'll be direct JP->SE (Amayama also ships some stuff from UAE).

I forget, which S14 SR cams retain VCT?
Those with 264's cams, how is driveability, idle?

Cheapest, but not cheap, is just buying straight from Japan. I used an proxy service to purchase my kouki aero parts off Yahoo Auction Japan. There are a few different companies that do it, but I've always used Buyee. They ship to most places in the world, and their fees are pretty cheap. Aero will be expensive to ship, so just plan ahead. No matter what you do, it will wind up costing you 1000's for OEM.
