there is only 1 blower motor in the car...its the same for heat and A/C....

check ur MODE door Motor...its probably on its way out or there is some binding in the mechanism....its located under the drivers side of the dash....close to where ur knee is when sitting in drivers seat....u will see the motor and the mechanism....

I used to hear a clicking noise from that area when I attempted to switch from face to feet to defrost, etc. Since then, the noise has stopped, and nothing happens when I press those buttons. Its called an MODE door motor? I assume that would be about a billion dollars from Nissan... my best bet would probably be to find one on Zilvia?

honestly ur best bet is to go to salvage yards.
check the mechanism first and make sure its not binded...u can disconnect the motor and move all that mechanism manually the make sure its functions correctly....

hey ive got an old Ka that wont start (cranks but wont turn over, it cranks at a good speed) and i cant figure out why it wont turn over.. What I've checked:
-Alternator is good and so is starter
-Batterys and conections to starter is good
-Spark plugs are good and new so are the wires
-I didnt want to replace the distributor because i dont have money so i looked at it and its clean and correctly spositioned
-Ive got fuel in the tank and have replaced fuel injectors that are good and i assumed the fuel pump is good because fuel keep coming up into the rail with the injectors
Can anyone tell me what im forgetting to check.. there cant be to much im missing thanks in advance

I unbolted my S14 wiper arms from the wiper module. I put the arm with the "D" on the driver's side and the arm with the "A" on the passenger's side. Can someone check their S14 and let me know if I put the correct arms on the correct sides?

Thanks.

A couple months ago I thought I blew my headgasket because i noticed coolant in my engine oil and i got the milky substance. I almost Overheated but I was able to shut the car off and allowed it cool down and filled my radiator up with enough coolant/water to make my way home and park my car where its been since. Never once did I have white smoke coming out of my exhaust.

Just the other day I got bored and started my car and noticed that the car started and idled just fine and no white smoke. What are the chances that I really dont have a blown HG and my timing cover just got eaten up?
anyone? Engine revd up just fine too

QUESTION: i own 2 sets of 17x9 gold phase2 elite wheels. if you know anything about those wheels, then you know i am 4 lug. you also know that they dont make them anymore and are just as hard to find for sale as "real" wheels.

well, i need some more drift spares, 6 wheels dont cut it anymore. what i need are some 4 lug wheels that look like a lot them that are 17x9, 4 lug, and have a good offset. the only thing i can find that is anywhere close is a sportmax 962, but the offset is terrible (+35)

any ideas?

the blower motor resistor has NOTHING to do with the function of the MODE door motor...

Question:

From what I have found so far on the site, all I've ended up with is more confusion than certainty.

I bought what turned out to be an S13 LSD this weekend. I don't have the tools to measure backlash so I'd like to put it in my S14 without having to take the guts out.

Can I do this and expect it to bolt up completely as it looks like the front bolt holes are solid, without bushings, in contrast to the S14.

Will I need washers and hardware to make this work correctly? If so, what will I need from your experience? Thanks.

yeah it will, unless you adjust the arms to the right lengths for the height then it shouldnt. but it will throw camber off and all that, usually not so much the steering. Get it done, costs like 80$ so why skimp out?

As long as the output shafts are 6 bolt, you just need to swap the DIFF cover for the S14 one. Then it bolts right up.

I have, you can use the stock front diff mount bolts just without the bushing. Just be creative and find a way that works. I didn't need any extra washers or anything.

Question for you tires experts for s14. I'm going to be mounting 18x9.5 +15 all around. I was wondering what tire size you guys would recommend putting on. I was thinking of 225/40s all around. Or should I put 215 fronts and 235 rear. I want to have to do a fender roll only

235/40 up front 255/35 rear. Youll barely even need to roll.

Of course you CAN run smaller sizes than that, but 225/40/18 looks dorky on the rear of an s14.
