Him being off saved me some funds. I actually stayed off of YAJ for a while. Unfortunately once I'm back from vacation, I need to hunt down a few things..

They're in Australia though which means I'd have to have the bumper shipped in 1 pc there before they can cut it in half and ship it to the US. $$$$$

They have a location in Japan that ships all over the world, including directly from Japan to the US

They shipped me a poly bumper folded back in October, straight from Japan and I think shipping and fees were around $150

I still prefer Jesse as communication is better and fees are slightly lower, but IM has been good when I've needed them in certain situations. I don't hesitate to use them if Jesse is overwhelmed, out of space, or closed

Just picked up this mint owners manual for my Carina for $8. This will help immensely.

Also on the topic of deals my mint Apexi 52mm white face gauges arrived and I installed them in place of my climate controls. $140 to my door.

And this Hakosuka wing for 100

For those of you who have used sea mail for shipping from Streeter, how was your experience? I know the wait is obviously longer, and tracking is pretty bleh while its on the boat, but was the package handled well? I have a larger item coming in, and sea mail is about 1/2 the cost of EMS and SAL, I just don't want to fiddle with it if my package is at risk for damage or anything.

I ordered a set of wheels through Streeter and shipped via Sea Post. All four wheels came in the exact condition they were shipped! I would do sea post again, just depends on how long your willing to wait.

More info? On what? There is a TON of info on their website on how they function and how to use it. Spend some time reading through EVERYTHING so you know what to expect

Register on their site, Find an item you want, if it's poly email them and say you would like it folded or if it's fiberglass tell them you want it cut BEFORE you bid, they'll respond and say okay as long as you're aware, then you bid. If you win they take care of everything. It's basically the same as with Jesse but you have to add funds, bid your self, and then pay attention to your account balance.

They have a price estimate you use, the total will be between shipping size B and C (should be closer to B, I paid about $150 for mine but exchange rate was better). All the info on adding funds before bidding and everything is on their website. Something like 1/2 the total estimate is required in your account before you can bid, then the total estimate is due within something like 72 hours from the time the auction ends or they charge late fees. Any difference in price is adjusted from there, they either refund to your account or require more. It'll change once the item is shipped in Japan and again before it ships to the US (or where ever)

It's easier to use shipping C and pay more up front, then get a refund in the end. I did B and had to add money twice, and it was like $3 and $16 or something stupid

It's a clunky version of Jesse that requires more work on your end and the total $$$ a little sooner.

Jesse is much easier to deal with, but if aero is needed IM is a good enough option. I don't know if IM can't get new aero not listed on YAJ though

With bumpers folded or cut, they fit within the size restrictions of EMS. So it's the typical 3-5 days

My experience is with IS300 parts, I don't know if other bumpers will be too big to fit

EDIT: well I don't know if your question was directed to me or not lol, but I've never had Jesse send anything by sea. I've purchased 3 pairs of wheels from him and the difference in price was only around $50 so I didn't really feel it was worth it. I have had 2 sets of wheels sent by sea from Hong Kong before I found Streeter and IM and they arrived in the same condition as they left, but it did take around 8 or 9 weeks.

if you're patient and on a budget it's not a bad idea. However, I'm not patient and I'm willing to spend more to get my parts sooner. One time I had something shipped via sea. Took 8 weeks. It was dirt cheap and my parts were totally fine so if you want to save money and don't mind waiting it's not an awful idea.

I dont usually like the look of gauges but I had to get these Blitz ones in black due to the color and the logo style.

http://page12.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/j...ion/p498864868

http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f165749375

I was also bidding on a pair of 5 bolt axles but didn't wake up in time to recheck the bid and I lost them for only 11yen.
