did you use a .20mm fine pen for the hair?

the stick out single strand hairs looks real good.

and the silver?

still a creepy looking drawing. but cool.

also, there is a trick to drawing hair, seperate the strands, and look at it like they are large geometric shapes, then draw all the fine detail. It looks as if her hair comes from small sections of her head.

Yeah if you look at my other work i always separate the hair, i tried something new this time, ended up hating it.
I forgot to say i used a white gel pen for some of the highlights.

you should pink up a needle.....tattooing would come easy ;D

i really like the blue and red one....the first one reminded me a little of what I drew about 8 months ago for a client.

i like this one cause it shows progression.....

I didn't have anything to reference....so lighting and shadows were made up.

here's a digital photoshop painting of my civic from 5 years ago.

and here is my cadillac concept from the same time period...this is the painted clay model i spent too many sleepless nights on

It was a lotus exige sized rwd electric auto-x/daily driver...pie in the sky car design shit

put the deco tape on, and painted wheels/tires and added brakes

Ive always wanted to try it, but never really got around to it.
Maybe ill make it a point to test the waters this year

I like that one though, shadows and lighting look sweet, i hate when i see people shade from different directions and add light sources that arent there -_- just one of those small things that get to me

Also, that concept car is nuts!

Did some experimenting. I was going for that active camouflage look.

Went to A-kon in Dallas a couple weeks ago to help my bro run a booth. He was doing "see yourself as an anime character" drawings... These are some of the ones he did.

Here is a link to his comic book's FB page (Welcome To Ralton) It is about a slacker superhero that was mentored by the devil, and kinda shines light on how his activities affect his family... Pretty cool stuff.

A pic from his comic.
