Haha wow, last year at final bout after the competition they let pretty much anyone out on the track for the remainder of the day. It was cool and people got a chance to have some fun, but a lot of those guys go up there all the time for drift days anyway and their cars are okay. Those guys, yikes

There's a club out in the NE that run events at Canaan motor club. Oddly enough their events are called Special Stage.

either they have their heads INCREDIBLY far up their own asses, or they completely missed the fact that this event is basically invite only for teams/drivers. You can't just sign up to drive, you submit an application for your team.

gotta disagree with the "pretty much anyone" part, I didn't see anyone out on track after the comp who wasn't already IN the comp. but yeah, the open track part is for sure a favorite, as popular with the drivers as the actual "competition".

The irony of our names, great minds think alike. The guys over at SSNE are good guys, they drove Final Bout 1. I went to an event of theirs a few months back. They run events on the regular at Canaan, where SSE will be.
