Ivm kinda interested in this too.
I just tried to start my car last week but my starter wouldn't crank, I'm attributing that too a poor ground or something from the engin to chasis.

with the aem i follow the aem pinout. i never have to look at the factory manuals. the aem uses a lot less of the crap that a factory system uses. only one cam sensor. i remove all the auto crap and the traction stuff. basically left with some sensor wires and the injector and coil wires. everything else on the ecu plug is power and ground.

plus the aem allows me to add oil temp and pressure sensors better map sensor and what ever else i want.

Makes sense. I was planning to remove all the abs and traction anyway.

On a side note, anyone selling this bracket? It connects the power steering pump to the side of the engine block.

May need stock pulley as well.

Also still need a round alternator connector with some wire. Drift motion only has the oval one and wiring specialists wont sell it.

If its the v2 then there is no difference as its plug and play for both the usdm and jdm. If it's the v1 then you have to make the harness pretty much with your existing harness.

I removed all auto/traction wires/pins. I need to go over my wiring because I can't check anything when I plug in a I-Scan to check values and codes.

I was thinking that, but doesn't the sc300 use the round style?

Also found my power steering stuff on SF so no longer looking for those.

Is any one using stock fuel lines. I have a s14 and debating braided or leave the stock lines. But with exhaust on the same side now worries me. Or maybe just have one -8 feed and could I use stock feed line as a return or not good enough? My goal is around 600whp.

Ok, from what i have gathered, i believe the white thing pictured here is called a fuel pulsation dampener. Is this something that i need to keep if im installing the Aeromotive FPR kit? i wouldnt think i would need to keep it, but i want to make sure. Also, what is this red sensor that is pictured? it had 2 vac lines going to the back side of it, but i cant tell what the hell it is...

yes and no, is your engine completely stock?
some people get away by just putting in a AFPR, and some people dont.(they have braking up issues around 3k rpm with it off)

but if you gave after market fuel system and/or aftermarket ecu then you will be fine.

Engine is mostly stock, just with a single turbo conversion, AFPR, and a few other things. i was reading the same thing about breakup issues a little earlier, so i guess i'll just be keeping it installed.

i may just remove it and then if shit messes up, i'll put it back on. i think that the aeromotive FPR would be a hell of a lot better at regulating pulsations than the stock FPR.

with that said, does anyone know what the red sensor is?
